  1. Very nice Trigger , but where did the stepper motor for the Z axis go to?, you had it before.
  2. I hope you mean the Su-27 stick :lookaround: :D Great stuff urze, you are really inventive !!
  3. Nice :),....and what if you put an extra "piece" below the axle, like the picture below, then you also have a return spring for the trigger.
  4. LOL again :megalol:, where you showing of your tatoo again :D
  5. Very slow at the moment, I have to sort out some personal things at the moment, and the rush at work also keeps me from working at this project. But it will continue ;)
  6. Very good work Trigger, you got some great skills  See you on Monday :smilewink:
  7. Happy birthday mate :holiday:
  8. Well I'm actually busy working that out right now :), if it's gone work I don't know yet.
  9. Hi,..Red Hammer,..nope, first things first but the plans are there for building a Throttle.
  10. Hi,..JimMack, it was great meeting you at the LLTM, interesting stories you have. :) BTW not all the pictures are showing.
  11. Great report indeed Groove !
  12. Thank's Vekkinho :),....and yes we have plans for serial production.
  13. Thanks guys :),...appreciated,...there is still a lot of detail to work out, and I noticed some engineering faults :music_whistling:
  14. And suddenly we got something that looks like a stick :D Don't mind the grey colour, it's only a primer coating.
  15. LOL you posted right before me  didn't see you post that, my typing is a little slow :music_whistling:
  16. Hi Maraudeur ,...like I wrote before,... I've used that texture in the beginning but the texture is not entirely correct, for starters, the white line does not completely cover de screw hole, it only covers it for 'two/fifth' in real life. And it starts exactly in the middle, on top of the middle "bulge" not a little to the left of it like on the texture. I've got photo's with tape measures along the stick, so I can draw a physical correct flightstick, and 20 degrees is what the photo's tell me. I hope this explanes better what I meant earlier :) CU :joystick:
  17. Hi,... yes I know the majority owns the X52, but I don't know if there is a market for a X52 add-on, the way we manufacture these parts is not a cheap way of manufacturing, there is still a lot of hand craft involved, and the series we produce aren't really that high. In our company the majority of the parts we produce are just prototypes and small 0 series. I really don't know what owners of a X52 want to pay for an add-on, we don't have a definite price yet, but I don't think they want to pay more for an add-on then for the stick it self, but I can be wrong off course. :joystick:
  18. Hi,....yes I know that texture :), I've used that in the beginning; but now I've got a picture of the top of the stick (it's a pity that I am not allowed to post that picture), and on that picture I've measured 20deg. But maybe it differs from plane to plane or from country to country, I don't know. I will have a look at the design, maybe I can redesign it for more adjustability, smaller increments etc. :joystick:
  19. Hmm,... well no,.. not with this design at the moment. Why,..do you think 20° is not enough? I've measured the angle of the white stripe on a top view photo (and I mean really top view :)), and that was 20°, do you have any additional or better info :) I'm always open for suggestions. Thanks for the link :), but I couldn't see how the electronics inside the stick are made, I've got standalone buttons in my design that have to be connected to a PCB somehow. Do the buttons of a X52 have a PCB on the back or are they also standalone buttons that have wires to a PCB? CU :joystick:
  20. Nice!!...., are you watching Joe Kurr :P
  21. Or I try to make a "plug" that is compatible with the X52 or other. :smilewink: But I do know nothing about the electronics of the X52. It was the plan from the beginning to sell the grip as a kit, so you can buy what ever piece you want, or a complete painted one, what ever you want. I hope it will not be a complete logistical nightmare that way :music_whistling:, but we will see. CU :joystick:
  22. Great :),....don't you have a website where you can put your photo's,.. and then link to them ? Or a commercial dedicated website where you can put your photo's?
  23. Hi, finally an update  I've been very busy with my daytime job the last few months, so the design work on the stick got a little behind. I've been working on the inner workings of the stick, and did some redesigning of the top part of the stick because of the new info I got. As you can see I also managed to get the grip done (all the little diamonds) For the buttons in the stick, I want to use the same tactile switches as in the stock Cougar, they got a good feel IMO and they have a very high durability. I've been working on a design for a button unit, that is easy to attach to the stick, and has some easy maintenance possibility. It also keeps the parts of the stick it self, as simple as possible. Don't mind the trimbutton, I'm still busy with that one :) I've made a little section cut of the upper part of the stick to test the button with the tactile switch, I also wanted to test a paint sample I made and I tried to make it look old and dirty. In the next picture you see all the parts to make one button, in this case the Autopilot level button. To attach the stick to the Cougar Base I want to make my own design, so that you can easily switch between the stock Cougar stick and the Flanker stick. But for testing purposes I've made a two piece plug, that fits tightly around the metal plug of the Cougar. The final plug will also fit in the segmented hole in the base of the stck. The segments are in increments of 20 degrees, this is the same angle as the position of the stick in the real Flanker. The plug has two holes to fix the stick to the base, one for a straight position (just like the stock Cougar for rightside use), and a second one for the 20 degrees angle for center cockpit use. My plan is to have a full 1:1 stick ready before the LLTM 2008, maybe not all the buttons will work at that time, (and the electronics and the wires will not be ready) but it will give a good idea on how the stick will look eventually. CU :joystick:
  24. Good !! :),....and there will be an update soon. C U :joystick:
