oh, so i don't have the choice for textures anymore? There are many reasons to have a costomizable IC so that you can select parts of a game you consider non-damaging for your server. In addition, running a mod airplane on your server, does not mean you want to let all players mod their game freely :) I won't try to bring any connection within dlc textures or anything, but i sure do hope this isn't to block out modders even more.

Had that happen to me too :P just had to contact saitek and they sent a new pair, no trouble there.

Anyone knows if the new integrity checks will block current modded textures?

This is not ED though, this is a third party texture release. It's all on Starway to make it happen, just like all other 3rd parties who needs to update any changes that ED does. But it will probably be a better cooperation than if it was a mod. Whenever a new DCS update comes out and things are broken for third party products, they need to fix it themselves. It's not like ED does it for them. A mod that has continued support from it's creator is likely to be just as reliable. Correct me if im wrong.

I hope this gets looked at :)

As long as other texture mods reamain unchanged in the future with dcs support for mods and not taken out by some new integrity checks it's all ok :smilewink:

yea.. As most of these things listed in the changes have already been done previously by several other mods..

Thanks Currently i cannot aford using more than roughly 15-20$ a month on games/software. Dont get me wrong, it looks awesome, but just because you easily can afford spending it doesn't mean all people can. I probably could purchase everything, but there are more important things to save money for than spending all on games. I think you should realize that for many of us its about our total budget for games, and not the thoustands we have in a bank for more reasonable things. (don't get me wrong, i'll personally get it some time, just i will wait a bit i guess :) )

Will this affect other texture mods in any way when dcs 1.5 is merged into the new engine? I might buy this, but i will resist if it somehow forces its way as the single texture option in the future. I do not feel that would be right for all the other texturers who have also spent alot of time on their terrains, free for the community.

Using steam? My friend had something similar going on, don't know if steam was the problem. You should have module manager on steam too, no?

Man. I feel so terribly sorry for the person who has the task of UV mapping. Good luck. I have to say, i was really impressed with the detail added to thw wings control surfaces. The mechanics and animations of the model is incredibly good for a "low poly". (depends what you call low poly i guess.. Lets rather say it's impressive for a game ready object)

Nothing against the new textures, but i don't expect to be buying it.. I already have a good terrain texture mod, buildings mod, runways mod etc. Unless this drasticly fixes the FLIR problems or something i won't be getting it. At 5$ i'd probably/maybe get it at some point...

Remember, there probably are reasons for their choises..it might not only be a "i want to make this now" that decides what comes first :) Suggesting that we know better what they should do is a lie.. Im happy that we are getting an F-5 along with future helicopters too

no, don't think so.. I'ts only been a few weeks since he last reported working on it.

Aircraft license might cost a few $ and they don't tend to go on summer sale.. (maybe not a major cost in the whole development, but it's a decent amount of money..)
