I've tried flying low over London after this latest update. Oh and Damascus as well. I run the MT thing in stable version and my settings are pretty high there (and I'll keep them at that, thank you). Anyways, my GPU (Nvidia 3090Ti) goes hot after 3 or 4 minutes of low flying (really low flying OK) - going up from 55C rapidly and topping at 75C. And then it shuts down. So it's black screen Happens over BOTH Damascus and London, with a Spit of course. I've also noticed how quickly the GPU recovers if you go skywards. It can go from 70C to 60C in ten seconds or so. So then, I'm VERY happy with the performance we've gotten but my GPU obviously can't handle big cities anymore. And I won't do anything about it because it works just fine with everything else (IL-2 modern and old). I could of course try lowering the graphic settings but I'd rather not. Cheers

New revalations: Doing new/clean "3 Pskott86 v T-72" mission makes it work EVERY time. But only when also having AT Infantry Updated installed. Then, removing AT Infantry Updated makes the mission crash every time, right at the beginning. Will test further.

It happens every other time or third time when I try out a patrol of three Pskott86 soldiers against a T-72. Haven't bothered looking through logs in detail but still...it is what it is.

Hardpoints showed up for my very OWN chopper yesterday, even though I had them turned off. Tried several times with turning them on, saving, turning them off, saving...but NO! Hardpoints show up ALL the time for me in Beta,

I agree on all your observations yet I'm hesitant to pass any judgement on the flight model of the Mi-8. Because I can remember how hard it was in the beginning...and now, having flown it almost too much, I'd say my judgement is clouded. I mean the Mi-8 is a very nice bird today, for me...but tinkering with the flight model? Not sure about that.

I had stutters even taxing on the tarmac. Finally got fed up and turned down resolution from 1440 to 1080. Made a HUGE difference. Not a real fix, I know...but you can turn up a lot of the graphics options having switched to 1080. For me, it looks pretty and I have no stutter.

Now all of a sudden I get way better performance. I can use my old settings apart from having the pre-load radius at half. Either my computer just got healthy again or the sneaky russians sneaked in a top secret update in the latest patch. Settings can be seen after 4:46
