damn it. This is the reason why heli starts shaking during hover. The fan inside is off, and hence not much of air pressure inside the chopper

I am not sure if it was asked before. At least, the quick search yield nada. Is the cockpit working not modeled because of hit on framerates?

Do you have flight quadrant attached to your computer. You know the one for multiengine bombers. If yes, then unmap it from control settings (axis etc). Then for the beginning, what you need is map trim key on your joystick. Now, before you take off, first move your stick (not the penis) and rudder and make sure that your collective is all the way down. It is just to recalibrate your input with game. Then trim your stick just to the right and down. This is your take off trim position. You may need to engage heading autopilot. I do it, keep my life easier. Your mileage may vary. Raise your collective till you are at decent height, yell outloud "I'm coming biatches" and off you go :)

I take off with heading autopilot on and cyclic trimmed to just lower right from the center. Once I am above the ground then I start to increase speed and throttle. By that time the heading autopilot may have trimmed the rudder and now fighting with it. So I switch the heading autopilot off just for a sec, trim the rudder back to neutral and switch the heading autopilot on. These tutorials may help: and and flying

I have bought all -70% discounted DCS modules, and just now bought Mig-21. Didn't have time to learn it. Got X-52 Pro, saitek, TrackIR and all goodies. I'd say the money spend on flightsim hobby is cheaper on a long run. You'd be surprised how much mmo lovers spend on virtual goods which is just...sad

Hey folks, Is there any map which has only helis (Mi-8, Ka-50, Huey)? Having ground attack aircraft is just optional in such maps. Just need a map to play with friends once a while :) Cheers and thanks
