If I see you ( I do not fly multiplayer with my DCS members name) on a server I will join you, if that's alright, the 50 is my Favourite and its best to fly in groups.

Hi Sorry you feel you had a somewhat frustrated time when flying multiplayer, if you could not access the message system with your J/stick, first try the #~ button or in the air try R/alt and #~( might be R/ctr and #~ I forget) the coms menu is not great for communicating battle info etc , but there are other ways the guys who run the servers can do this but again its very time intensive and takes a great understanding of the under the hood DCS commands/ programming for them to do this, In time DCS will eventually update all the coms so hang in there, just keep joining, I see that someone was trying to help, this was not a one off thing, most DCS flyers will go out of there way to help, but do help by reading the the briefs on the servers, its very frustrating to see some one asking for the Stennis INS number when its all posted in the brief, also most times there is a map of engagement areas with navigation points, finally flying the KA in battle ?, remember you have a big radar signature so keep low and use terrain, also the opp fighters like nothing better than to snack on a 50 for pre lunch and will go out of there way to hunt you down, last: carry a big set of brass ball and go for it. Not a complaint, Just looking for a confirmation from someone at DCS, Is the present brightness of the navigation lights on the KA-50 at night as it should be ?. It would just help to settle any misgivings I have on this subject, and a yes or no for me would settle the matter.

Yeh I get where you are coming from, funny enough the A10 for me is the only one that seems to give me the sense I'm at the proper height from the Apron/Runway the rest? its like I am a lot closer to the ground, BTW The reason I never posted on this before was I thought it was just me.

+1 To be honest, it does detract from the immersion quite a bit, the KA-50 lights may seem small meat to some but for some reason having the lights very bright as was before Taxi light & strobe fix gave the chopper Heft, to me "It just looked Right"

Client Tainted I've run DCS clean and got the "Client Tainted" message when trying to join multiplayers with the shield this very morning, I could not figure out why. What I did was to do a "Repair" I have no Idea if this is the magic bullet but it seem for the moment to work for me. Forgot to add: the only thing that's changed in my PC set up in the last days or so is I've went over to Microsoft Edge , not sure if that helps but what the hey.

For me now the luminance is not what I would expect (at night) from all the nav/flashing lights , in saying that I admit I've never saw them in real life. so its a gut reaction sure , maybe they are correct maybe not, so a post from DCS may clear up any doubt.

Yes something really wrong with all the lights, hopefully it will just be a fast turnaround fix, please give us the lights as before they were the best as well as the flood light, the KA-50 at night looked fantastic with all the lights on.

I remember when Black Shark 1 was announced to say there was a groan from some of the community at the time, me included is understating things, boy was I wrong, since then the KA-50 is my favourite, I have most of the fixed wing ww2 included, when It was announced that BS3 was coming it was like Christmas for me I've no idea why I like it so much maybe its the mix of old n new tech but the KA-50 feels just right, at the moment there is a new version in the works ( don't ask when I've no idea) and you can be sure I will be getting it. Thanks to all reply's, I knew all along to tick the box marked mirrors ;) no not really, might be you cant teach this old dog a new trick :) Love the simm btw, ( I had Bs1/Bs2) and will buy Bs3, thinking on it even at the Falcon 4 Lockon days were great and we have come so far( pity my skill haven't) I have never regretted one min of playing this simm, (apart from incidents on multiplayer with bully's with a BA ) and now with VR and voice attack etc. the future is bright.

Are the mirrors working ?, even if they are not working at present what's the keystroke, for the life of me I can't remember and if not working will they be implemented at a future date ?.

Warning If You purchase the Rift be prepared for: 1) The biggest grin on your face ever 2) The biggest grin on your face ever 3) Learning how to look down your nose when typing 4) Know on the number pad with R/control and shift : that the * is Forward, / is back, 5 is centre, 8,2,4,6 are up, down, left and right respectively Yes you will become a better Sim pilot, Dogfighting ?, cant say for everyone but I think Track ir has an advantage due to real life neck limit turning ( plus the fact I suck at dogfighting to start with) As to screen door effect, I don't notice it on my rig anymore, not saying its gone just my rig is very powerful and what with all the DCS tweaks etc etc 5) VR hair ( you will see what I mean ) mind you VR hair effect on me is minimal to none

Had the Rift for nigh on two years + without any problems, Early this year started to get very bad headaches/Migraine, went from occasional to twenty four seven, eventually by mid February I could not use the sim without getting really bad eye watering Migraines, tried every setting I could think off, no joy, so eventually ended up at the Doctors, I have since found out it was ( and is) due to my high blood pressure, seems turning sixty comes with hidden costs, so why I am posting this ? it to maybe help someone else that experiencing headaches and is putting it down to the Equipment/settings VR Headache my Cure: VR and getting builders in to renovate is a no no. Eject your self from the server if any Idiots start to mess with you, do not attempt to imagine yourself strangling the offender. Seriously if you are a Drain circler like me Do not ignore the signs and think its the VR to blame. Fortunately I am not in the once a day Blood pressure tablet for life bracket that means if like me I would rather adjust my life style that be taking prescribed Migraine tablets you need to limit your flight time and stress exposure. Footnote: I do not claim to have the cure or all the knowledge about this, all I have done is give you my experience, By the by DCS? your sim is that good now I swear I smell jet fuel when I am in the sim :)

I remember the when the KA was first announced, and brought out, and for me once I was in pit I was sold, I have always carried the opinion that DCS ( as it was and now) is run by people who care passionately not just about their products but also about the whole Flight sim ethos, and yes I am one of those who kind of smirk to my to myself knowing just how far DCS has taken us to this point, I firmly believe that DCS will endeavour to do what is necessary to bring any of their products up to standard in a timely fashion and finally say I agree it does need some lipstick and a new set of Knickers, but if I add up all the time I have flown the KA, Id say that Lady is still worth every penny I spent on it.

Can't seem to find the "Aerobatics' sever to post this, Anyway if it does not add to the lag, would be nice to have some refuel Aircraft above Reveille north. or north east or west,Also on occasion move the one set of aircraft to another Airbase( Not permanently I hasten to add) Nevada Map is a big area and all the action seems to be around Las Vegas/Dam area, on occasion there are multi flights up north and this might encourage more to utilise this . Just a thought no criticism implied.

Really saddened to hear this, I saw them on the 78 tour (Edinburgh) and the one after that, and they changed the world for me.
