  1. Have reinstalled over the last few days and it seems to work now. pity i couldn't work out the problem.
  2. So tried again with all settings on low, RAM is not being used (50% of my 16GB) which I though was the issue and it is still crashing... any ideas?
  3. This looks important! What does this mean? I have 16gb of RAM and lots of spare storage.
  4. Thanks for replying, only the major Windows update we all had a couple of months ago.
  5. FYI still runs fine on most missions
  6. Thanks all, still no luck so far. I have tried doing what you say and yes drivers are up to date, as is Windows. I then uninstalled the relevant C++ distributables and reinstalled them from the DCS World OpenBeta\distr folder. I am now getting a different error (not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing). I have added the latest log file but the key problem seems to be this: 2020-08-31 11:18:44.282 INFO EDCORE: try to write dump information 2020-08-31 11:18:44.287 INFO EDCORE: # -------------- 20200831-111844 -------------- 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: DCS/2.5.6.54046 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.19041) 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: # -------------- 20200831-111844 -------------- 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: DCS/2.5.6.54046 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.19041) 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: G:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: # C0000006 IN_PAGE_ERROR at 2994505A 00:00000000 2020-08-31 11:18:44.295 INFO EDCORE: SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;G:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta;G:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'teddy' 2020-08-31 11:18:44.296 INFO EDCORE: OS-Version: 10.0.19041 () 0x300-0x1 2020-08-31 11:18:44.299 INFO DCS: MissionSpawn:spawnShips 2 2020-08-31 11:18:44.304 INFO EDCORE: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\VCRUNTIME140.dll 2020-08-31 11:18:44.312 INFO EDCORE: # C0000006 IN_PAGE_ERROR at E0B412DE 00:00000000 2020-08-31 11:18:44.320 INFO EDCORE: SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: '.;G:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta;G:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\bin;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\system32;SRV*C:\websymbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols;', symOptions: 530, UserName: 'teddy' 2020-08-31 11:18:44.328 INFO EDCORE: OS-Version: 10.0.19041 () 0x300-0x1 I have tried the page file fix: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230471 but no luck. 7. Hello, I just bought the Raven One campaign for the Hornet and I can't yet play any of the missions. The game crashes during the mission loading screen. This doesn't happen on any other mission or any of the quick starts, only on Raven One. Has anyone seen this before and can help? I have tried other missions with the Super-carrier, the Hornet and the Persian Gulf map and they all load and fly fine, think I have ruled that out. I have deleted metashaders2 and fxo folder and tried again. I have cleaned and run repairs too. I have uninstalled the campaign and reinstalled that too but no luck. I have attached my log file. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance. dcs.txt.log
  8. Hi all, Do we know if the minigunner will be part of the multipcrew package? I.e. will we firstly be able to control the minigun in a similar way to how we can in the UH-1H? And secondly will we be able to have a human pilot and a human minigunner in the same chopper at the same time? thanks,
  9. +1 This would be really useful, especially with a tanker or two and some of the 476th range targets. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I'm going to start with this: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3040286/

I know this isn't urgent but has there been any news on when the synthetic HUD runway visualisation will be fully finished in the mirage? At the moment it only works if the waypoint is added using the mission editor and not in the pit. It also doesn't account for drift at all by appearing perfectly in place independent to the length of flight (I assume this is incorrect)? I imagine that the correct data needs to be inputted into the INS computer for it to completely work? I often fly with over thirty pilots on a completely controlled coop server and editing waypoints in the mission editor before hand is never an option. We always have to inputs 5-15 waypoints at the beginning of the mission and this means we never have a synthetic runway and in IMC conditions just rely on approach charts and ILS. It would be great to get this feature fully working. Thanks in advance for any information.
  11. http://digitalarchive.mcmaster.ca/islandora/object/macrepo%3A8474 Best I have found so far. Its the one Blech posted but in super high detail.
  12. I don't suppose one of these is planned for Normandy? I think it's really important to have one for the old style planes to do some proper, paper navigation.

  14. Very nice Blech, thank you! That''s a good start, would love to have the F10 map in details but that second link is a very good place to start!
  15. Hello, I was wondering if anyone had found or been able to make a large scale, high quality printable (in A0 or A1) map of the DCS Normandy area. I have two printed off already for the other two maps and I find it really adds to the immersion navigating by paper charts. It also means that you don't have to press F10 which can sometimes give away the enemies position and feel like cheating. I think it is even more immersive for a map set in 1944 as well! Thanks in advance,
  16. So I can't wait for this but I did catch ED being a little sneaky. The release date was written as April yesterday on Facebook and is now back to May...:smilewink: It makes me a little sad, it must have been a mistake yesterday but either way this whole thing will be great when it comes!
  17. This will be absolutely excellent for the Viggen, please keep us updated!
  18. Thank you, very interesting! This may need another thread but does anyone know how the RBS-15 works in the same detail?
  19. Just so you know the Mirage cannot tune to 152Hz on the radio and therefore cannot contact the JTAC.
  20. Thanks Smiley, very quick work! I hoped it would be something simple in the code.
  21. Hi RAZBAM, We have found a bug in the M-2000 flight model. If there is a significant ground wind then the plane can jump around, shake and tear itself apart during taxi. This has happened a few times and always when there is a decent ground wind. The conditions we had tonight were: METAR: UGTB 241500Z 31026KT 9999 SCT066TCU 26/12 Q1011 R31L/CLRD70 NOSIG We tried to taxi but couldn't get to the runway. Had this issue a few times and it was rather annoying this evening as we were just preparing for a large squadron training session with about 10 pilots and were going to do some full CAS training with a FAC(A) and LGBs. A long alignment later and we can't get moving without taking off a little prematurely, in my case just outside my HAS. To repeat it just add a ground wind (say 25 knots) and try and taxi at speeds over 3 or 4 knots. I think it happens when the wind is behind you and when traveling 5-10 knots but I would recommend trying different combinations of speed and relative direction. It's probably something simple in the code as your IAS is technically negative. My wingman was recording. [ame] [/ame] Thanks, Tedi
