I have similar or maybe the same issue as you. "Pauses" happens to me mostly when I zoom in, like something loads in backround. After I fly over whole map, pauses are gone and I can zoom like I want. Specs: i5-4670 8 Gb RAM GTX 960 Western Digital Black 500Gb Win 10

Hi, I think that this behavior is normal on low-mid end GPUs. I have 750ti and had this drops even in 1.2. I assume that engine needs to render another "pixels" on MFCD and this consumes lot of GPU performance. My friend have GTX 970 and on Full HD and 1024 MFCD res he have drops too, but very small. Gary: yeah your NTB have i5 but with M or U letter after numerical description of model like 5200U which means that this CPUs are crippled because of ntb heating, power cunsumption etc. So they are not powerfull as normal desktop models And same is aplied to your GPU, again M means mobile, so this GPU is much less powerfull than equivalent desktop model and most close is HD6670 which is old "rebranded" and little bit optimalized HD4670 with more RAM so no woonder that your rig "sucks" at DCS

Tried it with posted files, it looks good frames dont go under 60. I will test more later after work

Sorry sobek, when I turn shadows flat its still droping, when shadows are off its ok. I had this problem before 1.5. but when I turned tree shadows off it was ok and I could play even with maximal shadow settings. Now on/off box for tree shadows missing and thats my problem

It helps on off even with flat huge frame drops happens. When I look in to the trees, it goes from 70 to 20

Hello, is there a way how through the config files I can turn off tree shadows? Everything is fine, game runs on maximal details, but tree shadows visibly kills my frames. Is there a way how to keep cockpit shadows and turn off only trees?
