  1. Q: What's the best thing about being a crack addict?
  2. Well accurate or not, I really hope the ARMAT missile makes it into this module in the long run :) We only have one SEAD capable aircraft and it doesn't even have a clickable cockpit (Su-25T). A supersonic SEAD capable aircraft would be worth buying even if you never do anything else in it:)
  3. With all of the good feedback here I'm 99% convinced I need to buy one - Just going wait for DCS World 1.5 / 2.0 compatibility reports and then I'll be ordering this :D Edit - also does anyone know of a good seat cover for an Obutto? I would like put a seat cover over the gametrix cushion as I think it will be quite sticky to sit on when it hits 45 degrees this summer again, and that way my cat won't try scratch or chew at the gametrix either. Putting a seat cover over the gametrix won't cause it to overheat will it? (especially in the hot Australian summers)
  4. I'd love to see just a general demonstration tbh - perhaps wags can shows a little bit on the next stream :)
  5. I would go straight to the TrackIR5 with ProClip, don't waste your time with homebrew stuff if you can afford it. Unless of course you plan on getting a VR headset in a few months time.
  6. It's been on special a few times in the past. Maybe they have just missed out the flash this time.
  7. Well it works in game - so that means it is a USB input device. It wouldn't be too hard to make it actuate the gas cylinder on your chair some how :)
  8. Would love to see a video showing the small details of the controls as well as the controls in action :D Once you have finished drooling over them that is :)
  9. a replacement Playstation Portable (PSP) analog stick does the trick nicely with a little bit of super glue. That and an added rubber or silicon cap. you can get all of this for $5 including postage :) The downside is that still get some rotation as you do with the 3D printed part. Apart from replacing the entire sensor I don't think you can get around that.
  10. I don't think it would be too difficult to do something similar to this with a wii-mote or other IR based systems. 3D print a stand so the wii-mote is looking downwards, along with a few IR LED's. Then just put a reflector onto your finger(s).
  11. Very cool - does it improve the accuracy of the slew? (it's either too fast or too slow by default haha) BTW - what is the best type of material to print this from? ABS, PLA, Nylon etc?
