  2. I hope so, some proper A to G capability would be icing on the cake :)
  3. where do i pre-order? :D seriously though, where?
  4. i'd be surprised if NK could even get to facebook, they are probably running a pirated version of windows 95 with Internet Explorer v2 and it doesn't support html and flash :P
  5. announce it on facebook, that thing will never go down no matter how many people are rrefreshing
  6. But you DO play to pay. It's basically a taster, no more.
  7. an F-14 and a japanese zero would be great. then we can recreate the scenes from The Final Countdown. NkOsXNF_ZoM
  8. I fly the same way I handle women. (I use the charts...)
  9. Planetside 2 lets you use all paid/premium content for free but only inside the training arena with other training arena players. But of course in PS2 there are more micro-transactions, so that's probably why they did it there, because small purchases are easier to do on an impulse.
  10. Hmm I didn't consider how combined arms would work, perhaps that would be one module that wouldn't be included in this free use teaser method. I also guess you could have some text displayed on the screen saying "Please activate your piloting license to fly" so there is no confusion for new comers.
  11. I get what you are saying, but all of the files required can already be download for free from the ED website if anyone wants to. Nobody would have to download anything extra, unless they wanted to try an extra module. They would simply download the extra module as they do now. Only difference being is that they cannot fly. So it wouldn't affect the size of the base installer. I have to clarify, the switches would do EVERYTHING they are meant to do. The plane simply cannot be taxi'd and flown. Yes, but consider this as demos for the modules that aren't part of the base package. It's and advert for itself. You might have flown the two free modules and go, hmm I wonder what the other ones are like. You download the Ka-50, sit in the cockpit, do a start up, and decide it feels like a beast of a chopper. Then you suddenly have an impulse to buy it - well, everything you need is already downloaded and installed, you just need to pay and you could be flying in minutes. Trust me, this works beautifully for games that are soley F2P.
  12. As the title says, make all of the modules free for anyone to use, BUT NOT FLY. I believe there is something special in being in the actual cockpit. So I propose being able to get into every DCS aircraft, without owning the module, then being able to start them up and play with all of the available functionality. But not being able to fly them, you cannot even taxi them. Call it crew chief mode or something like that.
  13. Thanks for the update, EVERYTHING SOUNDS AMAZING! And I'm excited for Leathernecks future! Cya's all Monday :)
  14. Not a huge fan of the original ones, but the The Next Generation series is probably the most well written sci-fi ever, it explores more than just space and time. I do admit though, I didn't enjoy them when I was a teenager when they were first released, infact I found them a bit slow, due to lack of hollywood action. But now that' I'm a bit more (not much though :P) mature I really appreciate the stories and the characters. Watching the Blu-Ray versions of season 1-7 recently felt like reading a good sci-fi book rather than watching a show.
  15. wow the ambient light in that cockpit!
  16. I didn't notice, because I haven't flown an Mi-8 in Vegas recently.....
  17. It's been the first of march for well over 10hrs where I live, and you don't see me crying. (but I cry a little when nobody is looking :P )
  18. I paid attention to every little detail, but didn't find any clues to the F-14 Tomcat.
  19. those images aren't working for me.
  20. I know they're probably trying to create a realistic safari display there, but an aligator and hippo would rarely share the same habitats in real life.
  21. He lived long and prospered, what else could anyone want :)
