  1. Since update, I have noticed that Petros crosshairs are displaced low/left on my computer. Known working prior to the update, and issue seems to persist both in MT and ST. Tried restarting, resetting, playing with monitors, etc. Running 2 monitors (no exports). Main is 32inch, second is a 24 I use just for reading manuals etc. But the game is only run on 1, in fullscreen. New issue it appears.

  3. Is the server up yet? Only see the Practice one.
  4. Id love too, however that is rather early. I'm located in PST (-7UTC) so there is a good chance that at 11 local Ill still be fiddling around in air down here. If not Id gladly be there.
  5. Well if thats the case for round 6, Sign me up for a FW 190 ;)

  10. There MUST be moisture in the air for the pitot tube to ice over. General for us, its visable moisture (clouds), and temperature less than 10 degrees C. Humidity (and i could be corrected) on this shouldnt be able to cause pitot icong (people often think that it would because it can cause carb or induction icing). But the pitot tube does not have a venturi (look up bernullis principle if your curious) so the principles are different. As air temperature decreases to near freezing, the amount of moisture in the air also decreases. So at altitudes where the temperature is at or below freezing, there is often very little if any humidity or moisture. Exceptions can occur based upon the dew point (point at which moisture will condense), where clouds form in sometimes below freezing levels. Side note, avoid turning off pitot heat in any conditions not expected to cause icing, otherwise you risk buring out the pitot-heat (although im not sure if this is modled) Cheers!
  11. I use that for GA or when Im on other flight sims, but I figured given that it is Georgia, and military airports, that stuff wouldn't be published. Will take a look me er the less.
  12. This combined with yall working the IFF...... Having such a hard time studying for my CMEL Rating....just want to study the M2000C manual and practice in the sim for when shes finnaly ready to slug it out on the 104th. You guys are great, keep it up RAZBAM.
  13. Hey folks, Been wanting to fly in this thing alot less by the seat of my pants, and actually try to do the whole aviate, navigate, communicate thing. Part of that is trying to find decent maps and the like. I have scoured the forums, and google, and was wondering what most of yall are using to navigate using thinks like the VORs, VORTAC, etc. I found some things, but am unsure whether they are still relatively accurate (seeing as they are dated many years ago). What I am looking for is something resembling: 1) TAC or Sectionals (Most useful in this case if it gives at least VOR positions and Radial Circles) 2) Low/High IFR Charts 3) Terminal Procedure Publicatons (Arrival, Departure, Approaches using instruments) I know the kneeboard has some of these feautures, but it seems incredibly lacking for most navigation, not to mention its not intuitive or easy to focus in on. Id really like something printable, or at least viewable on an ipad/ second screen. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cover_Now
  14. Yea was great yesterday on thr 104th. Had a few people who kept me company in TS, and didnt mind me for the most part, being useless and a lottle clueless. Did manage to get 2 kills and another 2 probable. All in all, awesome. Work called me today, but i will be back up tomorrow :) -CoverNow

  16. Figured id be a huge burden to anyone on the 104th hah. But ill check them out too. Currently brushing upbalot on the SU27 since this seems to be my best bet in starting multiplayer. Barely spent any time in the F15...was always much more fond of the full fidelity stuff, but I like russian soo SU 27 it is today
  17. Thanks Ill check it out in a bit :)
  18. Hello everyone, Work is finnaly allowing me to jump into a few solid days of flying and Id really like to give the multiplayer a shot. Ive been playing DCS a few years now but never really online. I have flown most birds but am fairly rusty on a lot of them. Im looking for a squad, or even a single wingman who wouldnt mind me tagging along, and learning some of the tricks. Id probably be best kept in a Su27, or Mig21 for now, but I can always study back into the other birds over the next few days (have all but the c101 and l39). Im In california (PST) but can be flexible. If anyone is interested please shoot me a pm, or reply here. -Cover_Now
  19. Ill give it a shot when I get some play time Friday, thanks :)
  20. Whoops, Secondary search reveals that indeed Razbam intends to an English mod, and there is one modder in the community hard at work in the meantime. Either way, HELL OF A JOB RAZBAM. In unrelated news, if anyone wouldn't mind winging up this weekend and maybe showing me a bit of the ropes, I should be free (my normal flight schedule is always a tad bit wonky) all weekend. please feel free to shoot me a message or reply here. I am in PST (-8 UTC)
  21. Hello all, First let me congratulate RAZBAM on this module, it is absolutely stunning. Sure. IFF is desperately needed and the missiles seem a tad anemic, but she truly is a gorgeous bird. I have yet to find a shot for my desktop background other then something from this game with her in it. This question is specifically directed at either the developers, or DCS modders. Is there a plan to do an English cockpit? I realize this may contradict some realism aspect, but you see, I have a hell of a time remembering positions, warning lights, etc. when its in a foreign language. I am strongly considering making this my next in depth study, and first real multiplayer bird, but i worry without English being the predominate language, I am doomed to fail. Any update, or info would be greatly appreciated. The search function on here appeared to fail me, in case it was already mentioned. Best Regards, Cover_Now
  22. Same Issue, Looking for more info on Forums
  23. Zooming in the Oculus Rift Hey guys, I know there has been some previous discussion on the Oculus Rift DK2 in DCS, and even some pertaining to my question, but I wanted to see if there was anyone who knows different, or if maybe things have recently changed. When using the DK2, is there anyway to use the normal "zoom in/out" function. Currently I have it bound to the "friction wheel" slider on my TM Hotas, and was hoping it would work once I actually receive my headset. I feel like if there was some way to zoom in and look at distant objects outside the pit, it would be much more viable in game. Anyone have any thoughts or input on zoom and the rift in here? Or maybe a work around so I can compensate for the apparent poor object detail at distance....I would really like to get to the point where I can adequately spot and engage targets in MP. :)...or maybe even without traditional zoom its still possible? If not I guess I will just get used to Track IR (still waiting on the trackhat clip before I really start to use it).... Thanks -CoverNow
