  1. I'm not sure if the x 56 uses the same format or if the buttons are numbered the same in the software I would assume since Saitek is pretty lazy that it probably will but if not you should still be able to map most of the buttons in the game the same way I tried to keep most of the mapping through DCS and only the things that I couldn't do in DCS such as the the mouse joystick controlling things in the rhino software because the saitek software forces me to work in an 800 by 600 window and is pretty janky. To everyone else I did recently buy the Hornet so there a mapping coming for that some time, as far as other modules I can't say as I haven't bought any of them yet. The planes that don't have much in the way of hotas controls I'm not even going to bother with(mig15 f-86 ww2 hawk) plus all of the new modules have Interactive cockpits which eliminates the need for me to bind things to the hotas like FC3. Secondly looking back at how I made some of these profiles functions that hold a key pressed could definitely cause some issues with keyboard inputs and other things like that also DCS has changed the controls for some things as well. For that I can recommend three things 1. Make sure that you reset the profile in the x55 Rhino software to default or none when not playing DCS to avoid problems in other apps. 2. Only use DCS Lua files and do not load profile in the x55 Rhino software. you will have to use your keyboard for some of the functions such as the mouse joystick and the air brake switch. 3. Go into the Rhino software for the profile you are using and disable anything that holds a key down automatically without you physically holding the button down, iirc most of these are mapped to the mode switch button on the throttle.
  2. Yes I left it unbound intentionally for people without track IR
  3. I read the FAQ and did a search with no answer, wondering what these options actually do thanks.
  4. The reason you are getting a repeating s key is because you left the mode switch in the up position for nose wheel steering. Make sure to return the mode switch to the center neutral position to avoid this. Unfortunately the bsod when switching profiles is a saitek issue it happens to me too randomly and I have no idea why. None of these profiles are modified in any weird way just made with the crappy 800x600 window that saitek provides.
  5. Thats one way to skin a cat, I shaped a rest out of some high density foam board and painted it black and double sided taped it to the factory rest.
  6. Looks like you haven't cleared the default mappings and loaded the ingame profile per plane You need to chose a plane under controls and clear the throttle and stick categories then load the throttle and stick profiles for that plane. You do not need to edit or clear the default "General-All" controls just the controls for the specific planes. Additionally do not edit or clear the keyboard controls per plane, some of the keys are used for macro's through the Rhino software.
  7. All updated please continue to report any issues you have. Crosses fingers.
  8. Really strange it seems all the profiles are doing this to me now as well, they all used to work fine. I will get to fixing them ASAP.
  9. It was an issue with the profile, I had the switch for lights set to repeat as well as the speedbrake both fixed. The download link has been updated with a fixed version thanks for pointing this out
  10. I'm just going off history and common sense and what MS has already said multiple times. ED isn't going to bother with DX 11.1 or 11.2, I can count the number of games made with DX 11.1/11.2 support on one hand even then the performance gain is less than 2% in those games. MS has said repeatedly that anyone who upgrades to win 10 in the first year gets it for free. The whole point behind this is MS makes more money selling services and other things than they do selling OS's. The other part of that is they spend more money trying to secure and update old OS's like XP and 7 then they made from selling said OS in the first place.
  11. Neither of those things are true DX11.2 does basically nothing hence why no one other that DICE bothered to use it. To answer OP's question Just hang on to home premium until you get the free upgrade to Win10 which will support >16gb of ram and direct X 12
  12. I have heard of the cheaper SLI bridges doing this Also not having the proper cables or using the wrong type of port for certain displays can do this. What is your current monitor, cable, port setup
  13. On the subject of F-15c landings, does the chute still work On landing i've repeatedly pressed P from touchdown till taxi speed and not once have I gotten it to deploy.
