You cannot View CD-Keys on Steam's Website.
However if you already Activated them Before they should be in your registry

Save keys in a safe place. (Ie at txt file somewhere).
Delete all the Module Folders from the Registry, and try to re-activate.
if you exceed hardware points, the key will no longer work as the hardware ID has changed.
Wiping the KEY and Hardware ID from the registry will re-set them, and you should be able to re-activate.
I can't log into the Steam client, only the support account, the user and support accounts are different. I have the serial numbers recorded but they don't work(blacklisted). As I mentioned earlier, the only hardware change has been one SSD for a larger capacity SSD.
I uninstalled and reinstalled DCS World and wound up with the stock Su-25T and TF-51D as well as a Fw 190 D-9 that I purchased through the DCS website and the A-10C that I bought from Steam. That will have to do for my DCS experience.

Yes, I know I have to be able to access my Steam account to do anything but Steam support is slow to non-existent. The oldest support ticket for this DCS issue is over two months old. I can sign in through the Steam website, but not the Steam client. I have the PayPal invoices but no one to show them to.
DCS was the only game I had on my Steam account, I'm assuming since I moved to a standalone version of DCS and had no games on Steam, they blocked or deleted my account and blacklisted the modules. Guess I'll uninstall DCS and start from scratch with one plane. I certainly won't be buying any more modules, lesson learned about spending a lot of money on computer games.

hmm blacklisted is intresting.. i have to belive the only way your getting them back is if you have your steam acount... https://support.steampowered.com/ is the easy way.
only time i have heard of blacklisted keys is when they are bought from a Key reseller and or stolen/ other illegitimate things.
I bought the modules during the Steam Holiday Sale using PayPal. I have the invoices, but I can't do anything with them unless Steam responds to my support ticket. I'm guessing they know that...

I don't access my Steam account very often and can't log into it. I contacted Steam about it about a month ago without a response. When I do the license check, they are all blacklisted. I've had no hardware configuration changes save for switching one SSD for another.
I'm not a big fan of Steam, that's why I moved to a standalone installation shortly after I bought all the modules during the Steam Holiday Sale and got to know more about DCS.

When I first got DCS, I purchased a bunch of modules through Steam. This was during the time when modules purchased at Steam worked on a standalone version of DCS, which I use. The modules worked until I started up DCS recently to a slew on login errors due to hardware configuration and blacklisted serial numbers. None of the many modules I purchased work and lock up the DCS program at the mission start screen.
Am I to assume that these ten modules and planes are no longer valid for some reason? That's a lot of money down the drain.

I've been away for a while, when I went to update DCS today, the "Searching for Updates" flashed briefly then nothing. I'm on 1.2.16.43180, is that the latest version or is something not working properly?

Also, make sure you disable your AV. I have Bitdefender, and it messes with the updater if I don't set it to "ignore" the .exe before running or simply disable AV during update.
Figured it out. The DCS installation is on an SSD that holds only video games. When installing DCS on this drive, the Start Menu shortcuts(DCS Update, DCS Repair, etc) did not point to the DCS executables on the SSD. Manually edited the shortcuts, good to go.

DCS does not update automatically and it will not update from the "Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Update DCS World" on the Start menu. A window appears briefly saying "Searching for Updates" then it disappears and nothing happens.
Any ideas?

Depends on components and configuration. My rig is fairly "mature" with a low to mid range video card and I think I'm getting at least 30 fps in single player mode. I can't be sure because I can't get the fps display keyboard command to work.

The reason I am, and will always be suspicious of anything that is "free", is because the "free" stuff doesn't seem to stay free for long. Microsoft lost my game console business with their BS DLC policy; you buy a new game for $60, install it and the first thing you see is a screen to buy DLC. Windows 10 may start out free, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that Microsoft is going to adopt the Adobe business plan of subscription software. We might wind up paying for updates, media players, internet browsers, stuff like Direct X, who knows?
Apple gives out free operating systems because they have proprietary hardware you have to buy, Microsoft doesn't have that, all they have is software. As far as "marketshare" goes, if you don't buy anything, it doesn't mean much, it's a pretty nebulous term.
But, like I said earlier, if you have a PC, as far as operating systems go, your options drop off pretty quickly after Windows.

That's a very odd issue, it could be Windows getting in the way, try this to see if it makes a difference:
Go into Devices and Printers.
Right click on the Saitek Evo.
Click on Game Controller Settings
Click on Advanced
Make sure the drop down for "Select Device to use with older programs" is set to the Saitek Evo.
I've checked that out and everything is set correctly. DCS is a very complex piece of software, especially when in comes to device input. Making it work with every joystick/input device is pretty much impossible. The Saitek EVO I have is really old. I hoped it would work with DCS but I'm not surprised that it does not.
The keyboard I have is kind of a non-standard A-Jazz gaming keyboard. Again, to find out some of the key bindings are not working is kind of a bummer, but not a big shocker.
The problem is that I'm trying to learn the ropes of DCS, which is not exactly simple, and with the odd hardware input problems, I didn't know if difficulties I was having were due to the hardware configuration(easy to blame) or that I suck at flying so far(pretty much true).

I'm probably going to use Windows 10 in my next computer build. I have an OEM version of Windows 7, not sure how that's going to work, but I'll wait until the final version(if there is such a thing with Windows OS) before I try it. I will make a clone of my boot drive in case I don't like it or it doesn't work so I can go back to Windows 7 if necessary.
I'm a little suspicious of Microsoft offering free OS upgrades, I wonder what the "catch" is. Thing is, as it as always been with PC's, after Windows, there's not many options for mainstream use.

Check your PSU.
You said you had a 650w power supply, is it a brand name PSU? The output quality of power supplies, regardless of the stated output, varies widely. Also, if your PSU is older or has been heavily used, it is not going to run at 100% output.
I would agree with EtherealN, overheating components will usually result in a BSOD, not a shutdown.

After some considerable struggling and observation, I've come to the conclusion that my older Saitek Cyborg Evo output is not being correctly identified by DCS and possibly interfering with the input from the mouse and keyboard, or perhaps DCS is not correctly recognizing the keyboard either. I have used the joystick on other flight sims and it works pretty much the way it's supposed to.
I've ordered a newer HOTAS input device, hopefully that will work a little better.

That is strange to say the least.
This isn't a part of DCS. as I haven't heared of anyone having this issue before. What joystick are u using and is this being used along with any joystick software?
USB Keyboard? Wireless? are they plugged into a USB Hub or the PC back plate?
It's an older joystick; a Saitek Cyborg Evo. All peripherals are wired USB. They all work with other programs, only DCS is giving me problems.
I've noticed that on different aircraft, the same controls work differently. Sometimes, the keyboard controls do not work at all. RCntrl+RShift+Tab to respawn does not work the majority of the time, forcing me to start sessions from scratch, making it tough to repeat situations and try and find out what's going on.
I'll keep working on it, but not being able to take off or land takes a lot out of a flight simulator.

I'm having a good deal of difficulty learning how to perform the most basic functions to taxi and takeoff. I've discovered that when I have a key depressed on the keyboard, the joystick doesn't work. If I want to switch keys, like going from Ctrl+W to Alt+W to operate the toe brakes, I have to release the keys completely, I can't leave the "W" depressed and move another finger between the "Ctrl" and "W" keys. The keyboard and joystick cannot be used at the same time.
I don't know whether it's my hardware, the way it's set up or if DCS is not working with my keyboard and joystick. I realize I have a lot of learning to do, but I literally cannot even taxi a short distance and make a turn without the plane turning uncontrollably, usually to the right.
Any tips or advice?

That's correct. The sales here on the DCS website are better than the Steam sales, I found that out the hard way.
A standalone installation of DCS World works much better than a Steam install. The Steam DCS page is way out of date, there are no Steam achievements or benefits.

Steam is Terrible
I've only been using Steam a few months and they have been absolutely terrible, nothing but problems. I bought some DCS modules during the Holiday Sale and a couple of other games, but almost every time I try to play games there, the "servers are too busy" or there is a network issue. Since I installed DCS at Steam in November, I have only been able to connect to DCS World one time. I don't even know if the $120 I spent on modules have even been installed there.
It's not only DCS, I bought a couple other games during the sale and the servers are rarely working. It seems the only servers that work on a semi regular basis are the Counter Strike games.
If I did not have a standalone version of DCS World, I would never be able to play the sim. Steam really blows.

I'm still using an old Saitek Cyborg Evo. It is from the pre-Mad Catz era so it's not a bad joystick. When I bought it, it was kind of a mid to high end stick, now it's the bottom of the heap.
I have my eye out for a new flight setup; seems there are some low end choices and high end controllers like the Thrustmaster Warthog, but not much in between.

This thread wanders around quite a bit and it's hard to keep track of what's going on, but here's my two cents:
Some Gigabyte motherboards, probably yours as well, have SATA 3 ports controlled by a Marvell controller. Without going into the technical details, these ports are basically worthless unless you are using them for a non bootable data drive. If your SSD is plugged into one of these Marvell ports, especially if it's a bootable disc, you are going to have problems. If you've only got three drives(SSD, HD and disc drive), plug all of them into the Intel chip controlled SATA ports. The SATA 2 ports are faster than the Marvell ports anyway. I don't recall if the Marvell ports are blue or white, but there are only two of them.
You are running an SSD and HD in a RAID array? Forget that. If you are using the Gigabyte motherboard RAID in anything but a RAID 0, good luck. In fact, good luck with the RAID 0. If you are using an SSD, the BIOS should be set to AHCI. Don't use RAID or IDE. Hard drives and optical drives work in AHCI just fine. I don't know exactly how your system is configured, but don't expect 500Mbps between drives on the Gigabyte SATA 2 bus(or the Marvell SATA 3 bus, which is slower). Your BIOS and motherboard drivers should all be the latest version from the Gigabyte website.
You mention you have posted your problem on computer forums without significant response. You have to provide specific details about your system and the problems you are having. Without the proper information, nobody is going to be able to help you. A lot of people put their computer specs in their signature, that helps when somebody is trying to offer advice. These Gigabyte issues are well known, you should check into it.
