  1. Tuco even the 50 million dollar ones get close to the real thing but it ain't no cigar. Planes are living breathing entities in the hand of a pilot and will never be just 00's and 1's.
  2. Lesson #1- If you've never had real stick time you probably have little background outside of sims to comment on a flight model period besides speculation. Lesson #2- If you've flown but not the RL Sabre, you might have an insight but you still have no clue about the accuracy of the flight model and its purely speculation. Lesson #3- If you're on this forum and have never flown, go take a real life lesson with a CFI, you wont regret it. Lesson #4- Follow Lesson #3 then get really rich and buy a real Sabre, and say screw the module....and then let me borrow the keys occasionally as a reward for setting your life path.
  3. Got a free site up and running to test the waters. Stop by. http://theairguard.enjin.com/home Expect further details in squad thread.
  4. Haven't seen alot of responses of interest, nonetheless I am building a simple website and forums over the holidays and following weeks that will house "The Air Guard" and will focus on Korea aircraft to include Sabre,Pony, and 15 when released. All modules are welcome even with a Korea focus as are other simulators. Realism and history are the main objectives of this. Feel free to PM, and when I get the site up and have more info, Ill post in the squad directory. This group, while dedicated to accuracy is meant to be casual.
  5. Thanx for the offer Invisibull, I fly without labels 99.98% of the time and I am currently mod-less. You can thank the countless hours fixing 46 JGSME issues with me or friends, and the red butt of keeping Cliffs modded so I'm burnt out on them for now. On another note if you are interested in the idea of a getting either a group of Korea enthusiasts or simply getting a resource together of those interested PM me any ideas you might have or times you'd like to get together and fly.
  6. Happened in my up to date open beta for me as well. No worries! Invisibull, your server is fantastic for a quick dogfight and getting a feel for her in dynamic maneuvering. I'd like some historically driven mission without labels as well to get the full immersive experience. Historical flight times altitudes tactics etc are important to achieve that, they are not exclusive though to the expense of letting basic fighter maneuver skills errode. My view on things. Ill see if there's a viable amount of interest for a group of guys to focus on this and the 15 with a little F-51(P51) love. Bros flying jets and looking out 4 eachother would be the MO, thats what those heros of the 50s really cared about, their fellow comrades.
  7. Been keen to see a dedicated Korea group pop up. Suprised there hasn't been one focusing on this beauty yet. I know most are waiting on the Mig15 but plenty claimed allegiance to Mustang squads without an AI Dora. Might be due to many people's lack of interset, Id just hate to see the Sabre get forgotten. Might even consider starting a dedicated group of Korea flyers myself if time permits. On a side note there was a public Korean War Server that was public and i was repedetly given connection interuppted while other servers worked normally. Think it might be an un-updated server since Im up to date. Anyone had luck there?
