  1. The Windows version download at "https://movingmap.bergison.com/download" keeps resulting in a Failed - Network error. Anyone else experience this? Any download mirror available?
  2. I'll chime in and also report that I have the exact same issue. As mentioned in other replies, the majority of the time I have to slew the MAV sensor to force it to lock on, though sometimes it doesn't work and I have to slave all to SPI once again and retry. Quite frustrating.
  3. This was working flawlessly in 1.5 Anybody get to try it in 2.5? I simply cannot get it working anymore.
  4. Correct ME if I'm wrong, but with his 16GB of RAM, my understanding is that the system pagefile shouldn't even kick in...and if it does, only a small amount would be needed.
  5. I'm with Kyle on this one. DCS doesn't have aircrafts that go out of control with little stick movements. Make sure you don't have multiple bindings for your stick axis...maybe another peripheral is causing this, such as a steering wheel or pedals, etc.
  6. Ya, they'll have to be bound to commands specifically under the Axis menu like Buzzles said. Or else, you'll have to assign keys to both directions in the X55 software.
  7. The BKG2 shutoffs after 5 minutes of inactivity. If it happens in-game, try disabling the Low Filter Cutoff. It might then register the lower bass sounds without necessarily you feeling them depending on where your output "volume" is.
  8. I want my twin brother to join me in this amazing sim, and he's still on the fence about purchasing a HOTAS setup.
  9. I believe so, with the mod linked in the post above. If I'm not mistaking, there are instructions included, either with the mod or the related forum post on customizing font and size even further. Here's the thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95797
  10. It bothered me too, so I simply did two things: 1- Adjust the camera position in-game to something comfortable and save it 2- Use this bigger HUD font mod for the A-10C (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/374967/?sphrase_id=3768869)
  11. You nailed it! :megalol: But what a feeling when you master your cubicle.
  12. In the exact same situation, gotten used to it. I keep it usually just aft or forward of center to be in a normal zoom. It gets rid of the shake.
  13. Kneeboards are only static images, mostly related to the mission you are playing and the AO you are operating in. It should also include airfield information. Thus, you will not see your position on the map as it is not real-time. It basically mimics real-life kneeboards pilots can have on their thigh or dashboard. Here's a great thread on customizing kneeboards: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129341
  14. Awesome, didn't know we could change that, it was getting annoying.
  15. Maybe it's cheating, but I turn labels on. However, I have a modified Labels.lua file that makes all contacts the same color (so no difference between friend and foe), and they are only portrayed as a tiny symbol (for example: " * ") starting from a certain distance. You can also choose to apply labels to certain categories, like only aircrafts for example. It sure saves my eyesight.
  16. That will be possible in your TrackIR software. In the Profiles tab, make sure you're in your DCS profile, and in the HotKeys section, you have a scroll down menu with 4 choices: -Center -Pause -Precision -Profile Choose Precision and bind it to a key you have easy access to during gameplay. To avoid the need to keep that key pressed, you can check the box that says Toggle. Pressing it once will put you in precision mode, while once more will disable it, and so on. Now to set your preferred precision movement, go to the Camera tab. The last option is the smoothing value for Precision mode. The higher the value, the smoother and slower the camera will move, which is what you want when zoomed in.
  17. That is what I ended up doing after all...deleting all files in the input folder, clearing all assignments within the controls options, and setting up a few controls. And it works! Thank you for your help.
  18. Thank you so much for the quick reply. To understand correctly though, I must clear all assignments in every column in the control options? I believe I have done that already, not mentioning the fact that my HOTAS and Buttonbox were not mapped by default whatsoever. So for example, if I assign JOY_BTN1 from the Buttonbox to toggle landing gear, and I assign JOY_BTN1 from the Throttle to electric systems, they won't clash? I had already tried that and when pushing the one on the Buttonbox, it ended up toggling the electric systems... I'll have to test later again by clearing every single field I suppose...
  19. I have the Rhino X-55 Stick and Throttle. I also use a DSD Buttonbox, as well as the G27 pedals for rudders. All is fine and recognized up to there. The problem is when assigning controls in the options menu. I have noticed that output values from the different controllers are clashing. A switch on my Throttle outputs JOY_BTN8. Problem is, a switch on my Buttonbox also outputs JOY_BTN8. The same happens with the Stick. All buttons for the controllers start at JOY_BTN1 and increment depending on the number of buttons they possess. This doesn't happen in any other game since the output is unique to each controller. Very frustrated trying to look for a solution and actually getting into DCS. Any ideas? Thank you.
