Wow! This games file size is getting enormous! Do you think that a larger M2 drive is the answer? What is the recommended storage size?

Good morning all, I've not managed to play DCS for some time now - mainly due to working away. But I've settled back down and am ready to jump into the cockpit! I've tried updating my game to the most recent Open Beta version. However, it says that I do not have enough space. Is there a reason as to why the update is over 200GB, that's bigger than the game, right? I've posted a screenshot to illustrate the issue that I'm having, any help would be greatly appreciated. DCS is installed on the M2 drive (X:). Thank you!

Hi everyone, My server list when I enter multiplayer is completely empty! I have tried logging out and logging back in again, restarting my PC and this evening I have restarted my routes as well. It has been going on for a few days now (I was hoping it would sort itself out but obviously not). It just cycles the refresher and doesn't find even one server at all. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks guys! :pilotfly:

Hi guys, I'm currently in the process of transferring from Steam. It's going fairly well until I got to downloading my modules. My download speed it at around 17mb/s (not super fast but it does the job). But for some reason DCS is downloading at 600kb/s. This is seriously slow and is going to take DAYS. Why is there such a difference in my download speed and what rate DCS is downloading at?! Thanks in advance for responses

So do you think my processor is bottlenecking my graphics card?

Hi guys, I have recently got back into DCS (Woo!!) But I am having problems with my FPS. I had a GTX660 2GB which I thought must be the issue so I upgraded to a GTX 1070 8GB. But I'm still having issues with my FPS (although not to the extent that I was) My specs are: AMD 6350 Six Core Processor (3.9Ghz) 8GB DDR3 RAM GTX1070 8GB GPU 64 Bit Windows 10 (not sure if thats relevant). Please give me some guidance, after shelling out on a new pretty expensive graphics card I though I'd be set to at least play on respectable settings but I am still having issues. Anyone got any advice? Thank you in advance, George:)

HI guys im finding this aricraft almost impossible to fly, the SU27 pitches up massively almost as soon as i take off throwing me straight into the clouds and beyond until i either fight it or stall. Are there any controls that could be wrong that could cause this to happen, trim certainly isn't doing the trick!

Hi guys, in some serious need of help right now! I've learnt most of what I need to for the F15 but can't for the life of me work out how to navigate (yeah i know, pretty big issue). Can anyone provide me with a full guide? I've looked all over the internet and found screenshots on what to follow (the small mark on the heading indicator at the top of the HUD or the heading and course dial and to follow the small pentagon but i never end up where i need to be! Thanks for any help guys

Hey guys, i've had DCS for about 4 months now (obviously quite a noobie:smilewink: ) However I have a few modules: F15c, A-10c and MIG21. I've never really had the time recently to play and learn because of college work:doh: I'm looking for a few guys (or a whole squadron) to play with who wouldn't mind mentoring and just have a good time with while playing! Looking for people with a bit of patience really but am defiantly willing to learn and join in all the banter! Thanks, George Happy Flying Guys :P
