Just spent many hours trying to figure out why the static templates when loaded did not save as my miz. It turned out i was using the wrong version of Civ airplanes. Civil Aircraft Mod V0.86 is the correct version and it works perfect now after creating a clean Guam mission file. Thanks @Minsky for this great template.

Statics are placed outside the super structure now with Redkites lua's/scripts. Must be a coordinate error maybe on the placement. It's beyond me how to fix it. Wondering if anyone else sees this?

Alien Tiger is a must, I know it's the 35 but would look good.... But goodluck to anyone who dares paint that nightmare.......

Missing textures
rick66 replied to rick66's topic in P-51D: The Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney Campaign
Ok sorted out my textures problem... Don't be a halfwit like me and forget to activate the Normandy map in the module manager before you do the Channel bonus missions... -
Missing textures

Thanks. I will remove all my P51 skins and try again. Great work by the way. I'm enjoying these campaigns immensely. -
Just had a quick look at the bonus channel map mission and noticed there are textures missing from inside the cockpit. I have repaired DCS and have no other issues with other skins in missions i've created etc. Thanks for any suggestions and help.

ED Team.. Thanks for this update... Amazing work.. If anyone is having problems with Kaspersky just set an exclusion for the DCS folder.

NM just read your other thread, Oculus rift software is finincky to say the least...

My method is this, in your saved games folder under config you will find a graphics lua, set up DCS for VR, exit game then rename it to graphics.lua _vr, setup for monitor settings, and rename graphics.lua_monitor, use each lua as per your session and rename to default graphics.lua prior to launching DCS That`s the only way right now to do it without changing it each time inside DCS.

The 2 tabs i`ve marked in red and blue are what you use, simply push either one and it does what it says! No messing about, it`s fool proof, todays update included oculus mirror updates as well for those who live stream or make vid`s in desktop mode.

Your Pixel Density should be set at 1.3 as a base for your GPU and CPU, the stutters are most likely induced by high PD! Ive never heard of anyone running PD way up there and have a smooth experience.

I was just wondering if anyone can help sort out the resolution of my desktop and the FOV i need to set with Oculus Mirror, My monitor is 2560x1440, when i use the command to set resolution it displays correct, however the FOV is not correct, it shows the rift image cutting into black on the edges(obviously i need to set fov). How do i calculate the FOV using 2560x1440, the native fov for the rift s is 1.3? My commands for the exe in the Compositor are as follows. Resolution --Size 2560 1440 FOV --FovTanAngleMultiplier 1.3 1.3 (default) The following screenshot shows what i mean, thanks

It`s clear and really good for me.. Rift S IPD is 55, Same as the Hornet! I love the forward visibility, only thing i find awkward is reaching the switches behind me, but hardly a breaker for me.. Thanks ED...

W10 Updates killed it again...!

Just use this, it has 2 tabs that load VR and Non VR settings, you do not need to touch anything.
