  1. Thanks all, I've ordered desk mounts for stick and throttle, and the chair mount for the collective (all VIRPIL mounts). I'll have to see if it works for me I guess - if it means switching to a monster tech setup then so be it. I'll let you know how it goes!
  2. Hello all, I'm planning a major overhaul of my sim cockpit, replacing my current TM Warthog setup with an abundance of Virpil controls (I'm sure the Virpil sales team will be pleased). One unknown that is bugging me is the practical dimensions of having a collective and a throttle mounted in close proximity. I plan to mount the throttle traditionally on the left hand side of my desk, and the collective on the left of my chair. I'm worried that when I'm flying helicopters, the collective will hit the throttle mount when I lift it. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so is there a work around?
  3. Updated my drivers and it's all working now, thanks for the help!
  4. Thanks for the replies, I did a full re-install of DCS yesterday which didn't work. I'll try and update my graphics card drivers and let you know.
  5. Hi all, whenever I try to load the Persian gulf map DCS crashes, showing this error message. I've tried to fly the M2000c and the Harrier, the harrier flew for a minute but then crashed, the M2000c crashed during the loading sequence after I hit fly. I've attached one of the crash logs as well. Any ideas? dcs.log-20180523-150430.zip
  6. I did have a mod activated to set up the switches on my warthog which did affect the input files, however disabling that mod makes no difference.
  7. Hi guys, For some reason I can't assign the Magic Slave/AG Designate/INS Position Update button to my HOTAS or Saitek throttle quadrant, though I can assign it to the keyboard. Any suggestions?
  8. None of the buttons give any response on that page - also I'm not familiar with Helios. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks I'll have a look tomorrow when I get the time and report back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Not really - I have a Hotas at home and am used to setting up 2 way switches, the problem here is that I can't assign any switches in the first place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hey guys, I've been trying to get this setup (pictures attached) to work but I'm having trouble assigning controls to the switches. I can manually assign the axis although they aren't automatically detected when I move them using the normal method of assigning an axis. The buttons on the stick work normally though. However, none of the switches on the main panel are detected and therefore cannot be assigned. I believe everything is plugged into a box behind the panel (picture attached), which then goes into the computer. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
