Mr Sukebe. Frankly with this being a leader in flight sim development and quality, I am happy to optimise anything however whats the point in releasing a half done product that spoils it for us. Like i said there should not be any optimization needed as everything is set to min and i mean everything and its still rubbish. not forgetting 2.0 was never and issue. Cheers James

Hi All, i have 16gb of ram running on a samsung evo ssd my temps are well below half way to tjmax. so clearly there is a massive issue with Sim, ive reduced everything to minimum and i still get stuttering on ground as i roll and the cockpit is a joke im getting crazy stuttering there. so frankly it is a waste of time. Even fresh installed dcs and windows 10. Cheers James

Hi All, one of the most amazing simulators has now become pointless recently updated to 2.5 and i am now have massive issues with VR game play. VR stuttering like mad. All Settings at lowest and still issues literally all at min or turned off. Cpu 4970K at 4.6 GHZ on water Memory 16 1600 DDR3 CL9 GPU GTX1080 G1 VR HTC Vive As you can all see there is no reason for my system not to handle this sim but i am now having fits of sickness where as in 1.5 and 2.0 i had no issues. DCS 2.5 is a complete waste of time for me now and my VR set up is almost in the bin. Any hints or tips would be appreciated deeply. Many thanks

Hi all yip no doubt you have had this before. I am currently having general issues with dcs com and voice attack. I have come across the vaicom pack which looks amazing. Yet can get this to work either. Keeps saying command recognised but invalid radio. So frustrated!

By any chance does any kind person out there know where i can find a list of all the coms menu options. Many thanks

Think i have found it. It looks like my mic switch on hotas is causing a conflict. Anyone figured it out?

Yeah good point but I have gone to this effort for vr. Again froggle has it working! Is it because i have the hotas warthog im getting this issue?

Just tried it and I still have to use \ first which defeats the object of using VA in the first place. I have seen tutorials on YouTube from the likes of froogle showing you can bring up the coms menu without using keyboard. VA forum is a waste of time for I for. They just told me to ask those of you using VA with dcs. Disappointed and a waste of money.

Haven't even got that far. But commands like rearm and requesting tanker don't work either. Where is this special profile? Do you still have a copy?

Would love the Buccaneer for DCS. I have been a fan of her since is was tiny. I have a joystick given to me by a pilot after they last flew at Lossiemouth in the 90's. Was a sad day to see them fly so wonderfully and the land one after the other park up and fold their wing for the last time. They single handily saved the Tornado in the gulf war with her amazing ability to skim the dunes at 10 feet and designate targets for them. A very impressive aircraft most forgot. This would be a dream aircraft for me. Keep up the great work.

All other keyboard commands via voice attack work but none of the comms commands work. I've checked windows voice rec and calibrated. Checked all other keys on keyboard with no issues. Voice attack is recognising commands. And ive read all 50 pages of va manual! Any one point out if I'm missing anything?

A10c is actually quite easy. It's a very diverse aircraft. Unlike all the other point and forget aircraft. Not forgetting very forgiving when you slam it on the deck, or take a round through the wing. So in battle it give you much better survival. No steam here just on the dcs multiplayer. J

Not quite. If you have a a wifi card in your pc you will be able to connect directly to your pc using a virtual router one target pc. This will not only decrease to latency but also improve the stability of connection.

The articulation joint looks good. I hope you realize that the 3d magnetic sensor will be confused by the extra metal messing with the magnetic fields. Even non ferrous metals will affect how the 3d hall sensor with detecting the target magnet. This is more than likely why thrustmaster did not use metal internals.

Used another tutorial online for stiction fix. Just smoothed all the high edges and ridges on gimbal internals and covered in a military plastic safe grease . And not my hotas is as smooth as ever. I agree I would not do this mod unless you have a good skill level with electronics. You should really understand soldering to really more sure you are being safe with the components. Hi all , Has any one out there had issues with the zotac gtx980ti amp extreme ie coil whine? Very tempted by this card but herd a few issues.

I have decided to go for the gtx980ti but which one! Can you reply with what version of the gtx980ti and if you have had any problems like coil whine etc. Many thanks in advance.

Just tried to mod one of my slew to a smaller diameter. And it's been increadably tough the nylon is fighting back and hard. I will try again with another spare and back to you all asap.
