  1. Ok... -Enter Jester menu -Select AN/ARC-182 -Your radio may be set to FM, you can change it with the select mode radio. You will find the AM/FM options -To change the Radio Channel you will have many option but most of the time I use tune manual And that about it!
  2. Well, clearly you are not alone! I think it's the hardest thing to do in DCS. In he Harrier it's even worst for the obvious reason you mentioned. I am not sure if I will ever be able to do it. I still have trouble with the F/A-18. Maybe if you make your own custom mission with a steady straight flying tanker it could help...
  3. That is a bit unfair! Procedures from manuel + pictures from chuck = clear understanding. If I struggle with something I open a Chuck guide, it's faster, it's straight to the point.
  4. We already have S-24 rocket! It is precise and effective. I dont feel the need of s-5ko..
  5. No one mention the AUTO HOVER capability of this aircraft... I looked this documentary after the F/A-18 update and now I am hyped about this helicopter, no more meh for me! Take a look at it, it is very interesting and show similarity (and difference of course) between Mil helicopter. If you dont want to look at it entirely, there is a short segment about Mi-24P at 40m30s :smilewink:
  6. look like a bug... i tryed many things and no, nothing work! :helpsmilie:
  7. I do this often with 800l fuel tank and 4 missiles... full flap, full brake until max dry thrust!
  8. I still think Guam could be a better theater! I mean more airstrip...
  9. Thank Alicatt; take off part V! It is exactly what i was looking for. But now, i'm stuck with another question.... ''If'' means it can be fit or not? Yo-Yo, Wags, anyone,... video please! :smilewink:
  10. Is there any auto propeller pitch in the spitfire MK IX like the BF-109K or it will be like the P-51D, separate throttle and propeller pitch! I've found a video with a LF MK XVI With an auto prop and an override lever. But it's not ''exactly'' the same engine : The Merlin 266 was the Merlin 66 and was built under licence in the USA (wikipedia Mk XVI (type 361) !!! :helpsmilie: And why the h... the P-51D lack this kind of features? 5:05
  11. Wow! It's was a really nice video. I start it and wasnt able to leave my screen until the end!
  12. Thanks il didnt notice that.
  13. December 16th! Is that something official or a guess. I've take a break of DCS for a while and a lot of stuff have been post! I mean I can barely keep up with the last 3 days of unstoppable posting
  14. Thanks, now it work! I forgot the FBW and auto pilot test
  15. Any idea why this alarm is there?
  16. SU-15... :thumbup: Tumansky R-13×2 :thumbup::thumbup:
  17. My favorite module! I really love chopper, huey was my favorite module. The huey is nice to fly around and hover but the on the way part is a pain in the ... even with the trim. Now with the gazelle and it's fly by wire control, you trim down to level and that's it, you can enjoy the trip while relaxing. It is really responsive, really maneuverable, it's a sport chopper :smilewink:. The HOT 3 missiles are easy to use and the auto hover is a blessing . Landing is a challenge but take it easy and slow at the beginning and it'll be fine. If you love chopper, IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!
  18. I read a book by Barrett Tillman, Corsair: The F4U in World War II and Korea. In this book It's clearly said that it's a faster aircraft than most of the world war II fighter with a better climb rate but it would not be a good idea to do a turning fight with it. It's also suppose to have huge fuel tank, a 4h flight should be doable! Nerd1000, I read exactly what you write about the Gear airbrake!! It will be intrusting.
  19. Something else  Every new module is a good thing, but I dont think i'll buy one or other.
  20. Hurray for the RAZBAM team! All the best for all of you guys. I enjoy a lot the mirage and I firmly (but patiently) wait for the Harrier
  21. If I remember well, it's a mod. I have nothing about mod but I prefer ED or third party licence module. If, ever, an I-16 module is available i'll buy it. Russian ww2 aircraft deserve, at least a Yak, a Lavotchkin and a MiG. Japanese aircraft Should be awesome too! We could have a better global picture of the second great war.
  22. Yes, Unusual and interesting.
  23. Sorry if it was discuss before! I'm a bit lost in the 1000+ post  I have question about engine management. I know that the MKIX was powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin engine, the Mustang have the same engine. In the mustang, the engine management is a bit difficult and I suppose it will be the same thing about the Spitfire. Anyone can confirm it or am I wrong!!! :helpsmilie:
