  1. Ok, i might have missed the gpu driver's update. I'll try it in the next few days and report back. To uninstall the campaign i just removed it from the module manager within DCS. Then it appeared as available to download the next time I run the game. Thanks for the support Sabre!
  2. Yes, 2.5beta. I've run repairs too. Same result. Runway was 3R, my bad. In the ACM campaign he does something similar, he takes off 3R turnes east but manages to go around towards FLEX.
  3. Hey Sabre, I'm having trouble with BFM mission 001. As soon as my instructor takes off 3L instead of turning left to FLEX he turns East and slams into Sunrise Mountain, every single time. Ive reinstalled the campaign multiple times but he keeps crashing. Any ideas?
  4. Yes... but I heard other people say they have the option to select the map, probably people that have normandy. I don't. I suspected maybe my Nevada wasn't correctly installed or got corrupted after tha latest update, we use dozens of mods in the 476 and we alll know how even a tiny little mod can break dcs. Either way, I can't find any servers. EDIT: just as I finished writing this post, servers tarted showing up and indeed my Map filter list now shows: Any, Normandy, and Nevada.
  5. I'm haviong similar issues in 2.2.0.12843. Server list shows empty, evne after a dozen refreshments. Also for some reason I only get the option to select map: "Any". Weird because i do have Nevada installed.
  6. hey Sabre, I can't progress through mission BFM01. As soon as I overfly FLEX I get a DCS crash, I think it's because of the voice message trigger. The end of the log file looks like this:
  7. I only use RL data because of this reason. That said, any sim experience with the a/c helps as I bend the data to match the sim at some points along the process.
  8. That'd be awesome! I used real manuals for both the A-10 and F-5 but haven't been able to find RL tech data for the m2000c, so any source is welcome.
  9. Is there any technical manual available for this aircraft? By technical I mean flight performance, fuel burn, cruise, TOLD, etc. I ask because I'm interested in adding this aircraft to my Fuel Planning Tool Also, any sort of experience in terms of fuel planning with this bird is helpful. Rules of thumb, and rough estimates help too!
  10. You are correct, forgot about that bug. I haven't used that red triangle in years!
  11. You can hook any TAD object and create a waypoint with it by using the "COPY?" OSB (iirc its osb8). This will automatically create a waypoint in the cdu and send you to the WYPT page in the CDU. Once here you can rename it to whatever you want (highly recommended). Same for markpoints, it is easy to forget which markpoint corresponds to which target. When you create a Mark Point, the cdu goes directly to the MK page so you can copy that existing markpoint into a waypoint with a custom name. Believe me, both techniques will make your life easier.
  12. Thanks Han! I was thinking about that the other night. If you can send me a spreadsheet with the coordinates I'll include them. Same goes for other squadrons that have other navpoints in their missions.
  13. Everyone: I found a little bug that kills the tool when reseting the flight plan. Please re-download FPT v1.1a. This bug is fixed now.
  14. I might look into choppers if enough people want too. I started of with the airframes we use in the 476th vFG. Currently only works for the A-10C (A-10A works too), F-5E-3, and Mig-28.
  15. FPT v1.1 is now available: Download FPT v1.1: LINK
  16. Hey guys, I'm in the process of finalizing the Fuel Planning Tool (FPT), that works with botht the A-10C and F-5E for DCS. One of the cool features of this tool is that you can create a flight plan with any coordinates and in addition to doing all the fuel and time math, it will suggest the best NAVAIDs for each steerpoint, aswell as the external fuel tank requirements. Link to threads: http://www.476vfightergroup.com/showthread.php?5461-Fuel-Planning-Tool-(FPT) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=188817 I'm in the lookout for testers interested in providing feedback for the F-5E and general feedback too. Requirements: - MS Excel - DCS: F-5E If interested shoot me a PM and we'll move on from there.
  17. After more than a year of research, development, and internal testing, I'm happy to announce the upcoming public release of the Fuel Planning Tool: The Fuel Planning Tool (FPT) will help you plan for fuel consumption, flight time, combat performance, and navigation data for DCS: A-10C and DCS: F-5E. It features all Nevada and Caucasus Maps navpoints for easy reference and flight plan creation. Features: - Custom GUI. - Detailed user manual. - Based on real aircraft performance charts and crosschecked to match DCS. - Takeoff and Landing Data cards. - Exports for flight documents in different forms. - Google Earth Flight plan overlay creation. Requirements: - Keyboard and Mouse. - MS Office Excel. GUI Screenshots (WIP): LINK Google Earth Overlay Example: LINK Download FPT v1.1: LINK Showcase: For more info, visit 476th vFG/FPT
  18. Alright, time to get nerdy. Taken from T.O. 1F-5E-1-1984_OCR I understand how to work with this graphic, however it works only for takeoff considering the index point includes a/c, pilot, full internal fuel, launcher rails, and no ammo. How can I calculate/estimate the CG position after takeoff at any point of the flight? More specifically at final approach and landing. How can I adjust for the reduction of gross weight in the index point? Is there any rule of thumb? I don't plan on taking out the graph mid flight to do the calculations, it's for mission planning purposes.
  19. Overhead landing pattern: ${1} Cruise is flying around 300 - 325 KGS Low alt: 0ft - 10000ft Med alt: 10000ft - 30000ft High alt: 30000ft - Saturn All the other ones are self explanatory. Conventional Range pass is a lap around the Practice Range. Something Like this: ${1} For quick calculations you can also use: combat Fuel Flow is in the range of 6000-6300 lbs/hr. Loiter Fuel Flow is around 3000. both depending on altitude obviously. Other notes: - From my calcs, drag index isn't much of a factor, gross weight is the most important one. - Wind and Outside Air Temperature play a big part too.

  21. The 1A-10A-1 includes the -1-1 at the end. I have produced a dedicated fuel/time planner for the a10c using the charts from 1A-10A-1-1 (not public though) taking into account almost eveything applicablw to dcs and my conclusion is: The chart gliptal posted from the 476-3-3 works fine and provides a very accurate estimation for fuel planning. So if you want to go crazy with calculations then awesome, but if you want a quick an easy way to plan for fuel, that chart gives you everything you need for the A-10.
  22. Indeed. Just don't run the integrity check. I'll add it as a disclaimer at the first post.
  23. Going back to the thread's original question, and without making it sound like advertising: I made this mod that allows you to add Tankers and AWACS to the SADL. In other words, you'll see them in the TAD and you can hook em up to get heading, Ground Speed (KGS), and Altitude. Keep in mind that you need to edit the mission to make it work. SADL MOD
  24. Taking advantage of the thread's name: Does anybody know what's the transfer fuel flow for the A-10C and the KC-135? Question goes for both DCS and RL (if declassified).
