  1. So use last good build then. You do use some sort of version control system, don't you?
  2. I assure you, that I'm well aware that DCS1.2 has multiple executables, I had experienced crash into debriefing screen quite some times. I also know what the intention is. Fact that DCS2.0 is still multiple executables, indicates that it is bodged on top of DCS1.2 (or flanker) with same old bugs. Maybe ED should focus on FM development and leave programming and project management to somebody half competent. Was last sentence helpful?
  3. Sounds much like DCS1.2 to me, I'd experienced everything expect data loss, Considering DCS1.2 Only thing that comes to mind: Seriously, DCS 2.0 must be in nightmarish state. 2 executables, it was last time in XCOM? Unable to finish multiplayer GUI? Regars https://youtu.be/OMh-Js0KFFc
  4. There are dedicated ELINT platforms to gather this sort of information like RC-135, other than that, data can come from analysis of acquired equipment and of course espionage.
  5. By signal parameters like carrier frequency, pulse repetition frequency, duty cycle, modulation, etc. It can also analyze combined antenna-scan characteristic, ringing on pulse edges, but that is mostly done in ELINT receivers. M-link is missile link - radio-frequency channel used to transmit guidance/mid-course navigation data to/from missile.
  6. @Basher54321: SA-2 is radio-command guided not SARH.
  7. Given RWR will have given PI against given m-link, and that will be most likely less than 100%. So its not granted that RWR will be able to pickup and distinguish m-link. RWR can interpret anything it pickups anyhow it "likes", thing is, if it will be correct interpretation. For example what prevents enemy from transmitting m-link even when not guiding missile? RWR has no idea when missile self destructs, or if there was any real missile launch at all. In modern systems that's probably programmable according to EOB. When missile uses m-link its still mid-course so radar can be in TWS mode so there is no lock.
  8. Try instant action missions. I'v experienced this problem there (every time), other missions worked OK for me (every time).
  9. Is there face reflection visible with sunglasses in top left corner after crash, or is it just my imagination?
  10. What type of ejection seat is in that F-16, with those stowable air data sensors, is it ACES II? Aren't they fixed except for F-22 seat?
  11. Use campaign builder in main menu. Mission selection depends on your previous results in campaign, see range column.
  12. They must had a lot of confidence in their goatkeeper point defense system, taking pictures like that. Are there any whereabouts about the helicopter? Did US recovered the machine, or airstriked the site, or Iraqi send it to (or parts of) Russia?
