So by using this you can use Open XR toolkit with DCS? Do you just run Open XR(instead of Steam VR?) and then DCS?

Well unless it is completely devoid of features then I hope that I will...I'm sure Discord will still be used until we are in the Jet for Coms...but we are very much expecting to do the briefs...maybe even debriefs in the ready room...

Well aware of how to Coordinate this on Discord. We are doing that now and I'm pretty sure there isn't a larger multiplayer naval group out there than ours. But, the briefing room will be a integral part of our operations. My point is just because it isn't a priority for you or your group, doesn't mean it won't be of huge importance to others;)

Sorry but I think you are completely wrong. The Briefing room will be an integral part of many virtual squadrons and will facilitate a lot of activities...Especially squadrons that are part of a larger CSG and need to coordinate their spawning etc in the Super Carrier which only has limited spots!

Been waiting a long time for updates to the Hornet pilot model. Especially in cockpit for use with VR! Hopefully this gets prioritized and implemented soon!

This is so badly needed. The Hornet pilot looks like a cartoon compared to the ones in many of the 3rd party modules. And a very large portion of the community flies with the in cockpit pilot body on...a higher resolution option is needed badly!

Any update on the revamped pilot model? This is a highly anticipated feature for a lot of VR guys! Really hoping we can get it close to on par with the Razbam model in the Harrier which has been out for a very long time and far outclasses the Hornet atm. Thanks!

Well in JTF-1 we fly in very large dedicated Multiplayer servers every night. I had a chance to buy the 5950X and 3090 for proper market prices when they launched and I historically will upgrade my PC every 2 years. It wasn't exactly something I needed to do. But I do like to have the absolute fastest rig possible and I want to push my VR headset etc as fast as I can. While I wasn't having issues with the 8700K, 2080Ti, I've never seen performance as good as I'm getting now with awesome FPS on the ground at Incirlik for example with all my settings maxed out etc...

Yes and if you subscribe to their newsletter you can preorder it for $749...there's no way I would go Index with the Vive 2 being superior in every way on the headset side...

Not sure where you're getting your info, but before I built my new rig I was running a Reverb G1 at full resolution with very high settings with almost the same rig you have now...8700K, 2080Ti, etc... I run the G2 over native res with very high FPS with my new rig and expect to do the same with the Pro 2 as it should really benefit from being native to Steam VR and not having to use the terrible WMR work through that we need to do with the G2 and others...

Have this on order...excited to compare it to my G2...hopefully it's a nice step up!

Agreed! Would love to have something from ED that is on par with Razbam's quality...because the current one is terrible looking...
