  1. found the issue. the confirmation of the initial coordinates must be done AFTER the INS alignment starts, not before
  2. Hi, I am struggling with the nav mode currently. After full INS alignment, ie quality of 10 and switching to Nav. before I start the alignment I do enter the Long Lat and Elevation on the INS DED page and hit Enter, I cant get the waypoint distance to show on the HUD and on the mini HSI I continue to see the red ribbons in NAV (they disappear in Tacan) I repeated this several times and repeated startup procedures to the letter. Is this an issue with the latest beta? or am I doing something wrong?
  3. I hope you are serious and you are not trolling. I will try to answer one more time. The AG radar cursor in MAP/GMT/SEA AG modes works FINE with Warthog if the realstic box is unchecked. So I do not know what you are talking about. What does not work is the the trapezoidal area in EXP mode. That's all! There is absolutely no reason that the cursor moves in MAP/GMT/SEA AG modes but NOT in EXPx modes.
  4. It is NOT impossible. All the other implementation are working exactly like that. Example slewing the Mac, AA radar, TGP... It is mind boggling how you can't understand basic language! You don't have to reply to post if you don't understand. It's as easy as that, it avoids you embarrassment Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. Read the thread and you will see people including me explaining that there is a hardware limitation known by ED. In fact Wags did a video about it and showed the new realistic tdc slew control Option that can be disabled so people who won Warthog throttles can slew the radar, the mavs, and all other cursors. This feature works for everything except for the EXP modes. ED should fix that. I don't know what's your problem with this request ! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  6. Seriously? There must be something wrong with your understanding. If you use warthog, you CANT depress the the tdc nipple and slew it. It is a hardware limitation ! That's why ED added the unrealistic behavior possibility which work for everything EXCEPT the EXP modes. If you can't understand plain text, I'm afraid I can't do anything for you. 7. Would you have the courtesy to read before you post? The issue is not with the AG radar in map mode. It is with EXP1 2 and 3 modes. Test it and you will see that the EXP area DOESNT NOT move as intended if you have the realistic behavior unchecked! Jesus! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  8. The issue has not been fixed. I dont understand why we dont get any communication from ED about this...
  9. Sorry for the confusion. But the point is whether you check it or uncheck it, it has no effect on the behavior of the TDC in EXP modes. It works well though for MAVs, TGP, AA and AG Radar (other than in EXP modes)
  10. I think you misunderstood. it is not about how to lock, it is about how to move the EXP1 2 and 3 areas. It doesnt work if you have the unrealistic behavior checked.
  11. Thanks Bignewy. Should pressing AUTO select the first waypoint in a sequence or should it increment from the current manually selected waypoint? Thanks!
  12. Will the auto waypoint be corrected with the new CPL mode? The bug was present since the Auto function was introduced 3 years ago. Here is how you activate the bug: Method 1 1. Use Auto mode for some waypoints, example from 0 to 2 2. Switch back to manual incrementation and increment a few points, example from 2 to 4 3. Go back to auto mode, you would think that the auto mode will take over and increment from 4 to 5 to 6 etc... Unfortunately, it will increment from 2 where the auto left off Method 2 1. Increment manually to any way point other than initial 2. enable Auto, you would expect that it starts increment from the current way point, but it doesn't Thanks!
  13. no, it obviously doesnt work as it should but it is sad that they dont even care to answer and acknowledge it.
