  1. Prior to latest update, my F! Cockpit view began to jitter constantly in all aircraft. I then found the update and installed it and subsequently ran the Repair Tool. I even uninstalled and reinstalled program. None of this helped the problem. I even remapped the F1 key binding. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if a fix was found. DCS is the only sim installed that has this problem. Many thanks.
  2. Selling brand new WinWing Orion HOTAS. $400.00 plus shipping in US. Ships in four separate boxes. Checked all bindings and all switches, buttons and sliders work properly and no missing parts.. I am selling due to the stiffness of the switches on the right hand throttle. So much so that it am getting some flare up in my left thumb which I injured a few years ago. Just not worth it for me. There is one issue which I reported to WinWing and that is the tensioning screws for the throttle friction do not tighten or loosen. WinWing suggested that I remove the base plate on the throttle and attempt to repair from beneath the throttle. After discovering the stiff button problem, I did not attempt a repair of the tensioning screws. Please respond to sfrayner@outlook.com if you have any interest
  3. After poking around a bit, I am posting here as I don't know where else to post. I Am looking for a specific IP address of a server where I can test SRS. The ones I have located in Multi Player don't work. At in the format I am entering the values. Many thanks.
  4. Just ordered the Orion and I will be transitioning from the Warthog. I have been using a printable layout of the WH so that I could record what each button, switch etc was bound to. Is such a template available for the Orion? Thanks.
  5. I haven't viewed the Video yet but, upon rollout when the speed drops below approx 90 kts, I add full back elevator just to add more drag to the airplane. Seems to help some. People to tend to relax back pressure once the nose falls through.
  6. Hello again. I posted some issues a few months ago. Your response was to view the video by Chaos-out. I am just now getting my frustration level under control to try to make this work again. I also just got tired of DCS as I much prefer BMS Prior to my previous post I had already viewed the video and downloaded the pdf file for the manual. I have followed his instruction to the letter (as best I could as it is hard to produce a comprehensive guide.) To date I cannot export the MFD's to my iPad. Curiously my MFD buttons do respond although the IP address and Port for my iPad are incorrect and my attempts to correct them are fruitless. The key pad in the app where you input these values is non responsive. As a final attempt to get something to work I am extracting the MFDs to my main screen. It would be nice if the MFDs could be separated. I failed in my attempt to do so. They are linked together. Also they are transparent. I would rather they be a black back ground as a personal preference. As a parting note, I have been using your ICP/DED Pro in BMS for a few years without any issues. It just works very well. I do hope that someone can address this for me as I must be missing something in the referenced video. Thanks
  7. Extracting to iPad only for the Viper. ICP works as it should. MFD’s however accept input from iPad and reflect properly in game. Game does not output extraction to my iPad. The MFD screens remain dark. I think I am missing a setting within DCS. Any thoughts? thanks
  8. Harker. Dug a little deeper and found both freq's. Thanks for the nudge.
  9. I will try the mission editor within the mission again. I must have missed it. Thanks Harker
  10. Not the training mission but the DCS pre built mission.
  11. Just sticking my toes in the water with the Hornet. I cannot find any radio frequencies in the Carrier Cold Start mission Persian Gulf. Checked the briefing but no freqs for the carrier or the tanker. Not there or am I not knowing where to find them?
  12. Kingsly. I believe that it has been sold but I haven't heard from the fellow in a few days. If anything changes I will let you know.
  13. Has anyone developed a throttle curve to aid in AAR for the F16? Thanks.
  14. Brand new in the box. I tried to set it up but the software kept kicking my butt. Too much work for my style of play. $350.00 + shipping I searched but didn't find a sell or trade thread so I posted here.
  15. Thanks drPhibes. That is it. Interesting call sign btw.
  16. I am trying to find the commands to tell Jester to be quiet for awhile. Ultimately to use Voice Attack to keep him from barking in my headset. Can anyone enlighten me? I have searched high and low but no luck yet. Thanks!
  17. That just it. I cannot get the Warthog TDC nipple to map at all. Can't put in curves and saturation until I get it to map.
  18. Greyman. Actually I did see those bindings but they are not easy to use. For instance, I cannot move the TDC Slew diagonally. Just up, down, left, and right. i guess that is the best I can do with the Warthog. I have seen the TDC move properly in videos so it can be done. Thanks for the reply.
  19. I have not been able to assign the TDC Slew (mini mouse?:) on my TM Warthog. Using axis assign etc does not work either. It looks like the Hornet doesn't like the Warthog Throttle. Ant help would be appreciated.
  20. Hi Mr. Fum, aka Viper. Very nice to hear from you. Thanks for the missions. On my flight in the GIV the other day, I found that the diff between TAS and IAS as shown in DCS is not so far out of the ordinary after all. I that all is well with you.
  21. Thanks for the feedback. I know that gs means ground speed. So, without wind aloft, the TAS should equal ground speed. DCS complicates things by using gs in the design of the mission and then uses IAS for the tanker in the F2 view. Airspeed shown in the HUD is IAS correct? Since I am designing a refuel mission at 10,000 feet at 350 kts, the difference between TAS and IAS is unrealistic. So, in the final analysis, it is hit or miss on the gs selection until the tanker is flying fast enough for good control response in the aircraft needing the fuel. I am flying a GIV trip in a few days and I will note IAS v TAS at 10000, 20000, and 30000 feet. I will bet that I am missing something really simple in mission design. Best to you.
  22. HI All, I am trying to build a simple refueling mission for the sake of practice. I cannot figure out how to assign a comm frequency for the tanker. Also, when I assign a speed for the tanker I notice that the GS box is ticked. I am trying to figure out how to match my IAS with that of the tanker. If I assign 350 kts for example, the IAS of the Tanker (F2 view) is significantly slower. Thanks
