  1. Hi all, please see the attached track. During this mission, the aircraft gets a seemingly meaningless sideslip to the left. This is neither caused by wind (see how I turn 180° and it's still to the left) nor by asymmetric loadout (see how it's still there after firing/jettison all stations). This sideslip is absent at mission start and gets worse with time during the mission. It also seems to be a bit worse wit decreasing altitude. This affects unguided bombing. It seems it affects also the HUD cueing system of the ATFLIR. I probaby made something wrong... if so, please tell me what. Otherwise it might be a bad bug. Thanks in advance!! hornet_sideslip.trk Forgot to mention: I thoroughly checked my input controls and they are fine. The FCS shows also practically centered controls. And some screenshots here
  2. Guys, you're right... I realized the same by watching from another angle https://youtu.be/VLgP7ajRrqo
  3. Can anyone of you carrier landing experts explain me why I don't get any wire to hook in this landing??? Hornet_bolter.trk
  4. No, this did not help. But I found a workaround: limit the framerate to 50 fps. Given that I have a Gsync screen, this is fine for my eyes. The drops are still there, but less often and jumping from 50fps to 40 and back is not as noticeable as from 70fps. Moreover, my graphic card seems not so "stressed" to get this framerate
  5. I have the same problem as you, the Harrier in PG gives stutters. It's about every 10 seconds, my FPS has a sudden drops from ~70 to ~30 and back. Log & options are attached, as well as as my rig hardware. Log_&_Options.zip
  6. This way of thinking is quite arrogant, and cuts out a large part of the player base. I've just bought a 1440p and I don't see me changing it in years to come. Not everybody has the money to afford a 4K screen, and moreover, not the money for a PC to pump enough frames into a 4K screen.
  7. Thanks for the answers. This also means that normally the CG of the helicopter is in front of the main rotor axis, right?
  8. Hi, can someone explain me clearly why does the pilot need to pull the cyclic in hovering? The explanation in the manual (highlighted in the attachment) is really confusing to me.
  9. Unfortunately that does not answer my question. That thread shows how to create additional user folder in Saved Games. What I would like to do is, instead, have my user folder somewhere else than in Saved Games.
  10. As title says: how can I make DCS write the user folder somewhere else than in Saved Games?
  11. Hi, I wanted just to point out two small issues with the current keybindings. 1) the STO Stop keybindings are IMHO mistakenly switched: the "STO Stop DOWN", pushes the lever forward and viceversa. Maybe it's just a matter of keybind naming. 2) I noticed there is a keybind for "Refuel probe light", but the Harrier Manual states that the refuel probe light is automatically turned on when the probe is extended, so there should not be any dedicated key for this.
  12. Nice video! Can you please post a link to the Marines' document you mentioned?
  13. [we are nearing the point]® [it is almost complete]® [in the coming weeks]® :D
  14. As far as I understand from the Pocket Guide and the NATOPS Manual, you don't need always the water injection. I guess if you have 50% fuel, no stores loaded, external temperature not above 15°C, you can have enough thrust to hover without overheating the turbine... if so, no water needed.
