  1. Yip totally agree. After a while the explosions get a bit "samey" def need much more variation there.
  2. Just want to bring this up again.... It kinda feels like a 172 will generate wingtip vortex if you pulled hard enough on the stick in DCS... If you look at mach loop and death valley flybys you can see certain jets produce wingtip vortices a lot easier than others like F15 and F35. The hawk, M2000 etc hardly any especially in areas like death valley. Sometimes you getting these vortices in level flight in DCS, unless there a SERIOUS amount of moisture in the air is unlikely. Additionally, in actual vids showing high G turns, the wintip voticies tend to disappear due to the break away on the wintip and primarily overwing vapour is visible... Will this be looked at possibly?
  3. I must say the vapour effects looks really good so far - well done ED/ Razbam for that - very impressive!! :clap_2: BUT... Apparently you get vortices and vapour on a clear day at 60 kts at 37000ft.... If this was likened to real life, I would observe vapour/vortices coming off the rear view mirrors of my Volkswagen between traffic lights... The wingtip vortices do however need improvement not only in the aforementioned but also different intensities - depending on speed, asymmetric vortices - depending on which wing is producing lift in a roll etc. as well as scenarios where there is no wingtip vortices and only wing vapour from a high g maneuver.
  4. BTW I haven't tried 2.5 out yet...So could be wrong
  5. Thanks Shagrat, but I think he was asking about the explosions being created for bombs as these explosions in the video are the same ones from 2.2 and were mainly only for rockets.
  6. Carpet bombing effects also would be great!
  7. It is a combat simulator... and explosions and particle effects (air and ground) are a significant part of that.
  8. I am only referring to the explosion and particle effects, which is 100x better than what we have at the moment and this video is quite a few years old... Doubt the new explosions expected are going to be much better than this :imho:
  9. Would like to see something like this - hopefully sooner rather than later...
  10. Waaaaay to sensitive! Get them on the P51 straight from take off
  11. Any news or developments on updated effects or ETA? ie Explosions, overwing vapour etc....?
  12. After flying the F86 then loading up the A10C, the A10 has missing textures in the cockpit. If I restart the game and load up an A10 mission again, the textures are there and all seems fine...
