  1. If you're just looking for the HOTAS Commands to assign: // Command File // Game: DCS F/A 18C (SIM) // By: Ken King // Date: 9/8/2018 // // HOTAS // // Throttle // ATC-ENGAGE/DISENGAGE t CAGE/UNCAGE c COMM-1 RALT \ COMM-2 RCTL 2 DISP-FLARE d DISP-CHAFF e EXT-LIGHTS(OFF) l EXT-LIGHTS(ON) LCTL l RAID/FLIR/FOV-SEL i RDR-ELE-DOWN - RDR-ELE-UP = SPEED-BRAKE-EXTEND LSHF b SPEED-BRAKE-OFF b SPEED-BRAKE-RETRACT LCTL b TDC-DEPRESS ENT TDC-DOWN . 2. I'm using a combination of the TM Warthog Stick and Throttle with CH Products ProPedals, two CH Products MFPs as well one and a half, CH Products Throttle Quadrants. Obviously, not listed are the MFPs, Throttle Quadrants and ProPedals.
  3. Finally got Control Manager to cooperate in Win7 compatibility mode, so, you never know ;)
  4. http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?/topic/8727-work-around-for-windows-10-controller-not-recognized/ You're not alone...
  5. This may help... http://simhq.net/downloads/technology/HOTAS.zip
  6. The following seem to be unassignable with keys, or a combination of: Flight Control Engine Start Switch Toggle (joystick) Flaps Down Detent (joystick) Flaps Up Detent (joystick) LP Fuel Cock Toggle (joystick) Engine Start Engine Ignition Toggle (joystick) Fuel Pump On/Off (joystick) I have plenty of buttons, switches and HATs to assign (more than enough actually). So I don't need a clickable cockpit. I've been trying to wrap my head around the starting sequence and what I've come up with based on the information out there as well in the .pdf installed with the Mod, I'm having to *cheat* with the LWIN KBHOME to get this aircraft started. Please, what am I missing... // // DCS VEAO BAE HAWK START SEQUENCE // // TQ 1 BTN 1 ENGINE-IGNITION-ON // TQ 1 BTN 3 (LIST MODE) BATT-MASTER-1-ON BATT-MASTER-2-ON // TQ 1 BTN 5 (LIST MODE) OXY-SEL-ON CABIN-AIR-FLOW-NORM // TQ 1 BTN 7 (LIST MODE) CLOSE/OPEN-CANOPY CANOPY-LOCKING-CLOSE/OPEN CANOPY-SAFETY-CATCH-CLOSE/OPEN // TQ 1 BTN 9 (NORM ACTION) LP-FUEL-COCK-ON // TQ 1 BTN 11 (NORM ACTION) ENGINE-START-SWITCH-ON // TQ 2 BTN 1 (LIST MODE) FUEL-PUMP-ON ENGINE-START-SWITCH-START // PT BTN 4 (SHIFTED ACTION) IDLE-CUTOFF // TQ 2 BTN 3 (LIST MODE) HYDRAULIC-2-RESET AHRS-SLAVE-MODE // TQ 2 BTN 5 (NORM ACTION) ILS-ON // TQ 2 BTN 7 (LIST MODE) MAIN-PANEL-LIGHTS NAVIGATION-LIGHTS WHISKEY-COMPASS-LIGHT // // DCS VEAO BAE HAWK STOP SEQUENCE // // TQ 2 BTN 6 (NORM ACTION) ILS-OFF // TQ 2 BTN 2 (NORM ACTION) FUEL-PUMP-OFF // TQ 1 BTN 12 (NORM ACTION) ENGINE-START-SWITCH-OFF // TQ 1 BTN 10 (NORM ACTION) LP-FUEL-COCK-OFF // TQ 1 BTN 8 (LIST MODE) CANOPY-SAFETY-CATCH-CLOSE/OPEN CANOPY-LOCKING-CLOSE/OPEN CLOSE/OPEN-CANOPY // TQ 1 BTN 6 (LIST MODE) CABIN-AIR-FLOW-OFF OXY-SEL-OFF // TQ 1 BTN 4 (LIST MODE) BATT-MASTER-1-OFF BATT-MASTER-2-OFF // TQ 1 BTN 2 (NORM ACTION) ENGINE-IGNITION-OFF // // END Thanks. S/F
  7. Looks like I'm going to have to as the above, in that sequence, doesn't work. No worries, I've got plenty of Throttle Quadrants, buttons, switches... to assign LWIN KBHOME. Haven't made a Fran-Potato in about a year. Can I still? Sure.
  8. Did a wee bit more tinkerin' and came up with the following... // // DCS BAE HAWK START SEQUENCE // // TQ 1 BTN 1 ENGINE-IGNITION-ON // TQ 1 BTN 3 (LIST MODE) BATT-MASTER-1-ON BATT-MASTER-2-ON // TQ 1 BTN 5 (LIST MODE) OXY-SEL-ON CABIN-AIR-FLOW-NORM // TQ 1 BTN 7 (LIST MODE) CLOSE/OPEN-CANOPY CANOPY-LOCKING-CLOSE/OPEN CANOPY-SAFETY-CATCH-CLOSE/OPEN // TQ 1 BTN 9 (NORM ACTION) LP-FUEL-COCK-ON // TQ 1 BTN 11 (NORM ACTION) ENGINE-START-SWITCH-ON // TQ 2 BTN 1 (LIST MODE) FUEL-PUMP-ON ENGINE-START-SWITCH-START // PT BTN 4 (SHIFTED ACTION) IDLE-CUTOFF // TQ 2 BTN 3 (LIST MODE) HYDRAULIC-2-RESET AHRS-SLAVE-MODE // TQ 2 BTN 5 (NORM ACTION) ILS-ON // TQ 2 BTN 7 (LIST MODE) MAIN-PANEL-LIGHTS NAVIGATION-LIGHTS WHISKEY-COMPASS-LIGHT //
  9. I currently have a couple (make it one and a half) CH Products Throttle Quadrants connected. I have come up with the following: // // DCS BAE HAWK START SEQUENCE // // TQ 1 BTN 1 ENGINE-IGNITION-ON LSHF 7 // TQ 1 BTN 3 (LIST MODE) BATT-MASTER-1-ON HOLD RSHF 1 BATT-MASTER-2-ON HOLD RSHF 2 // TQ 1 BTN 5 (LIST MODE) OXY-SEL-ON LSHF o CABIN-AIR-FLOW-NORM HOLD LCTL CHARDLY LSHF n // TQ 1 BTN 7 (LIST MODE) CLOSE/OPEN-CANOPY HOLD LCTL c CANOPY-LOCKING-CLOSE/OPEN HOLD RCTL c CANOPY-SAFETY-CATCH-CLOSE/OPEN LSHF c // TQ 1 BTN 8 (LIST MODE) LP-FUEL-COCK-ON HOLD LSHF d LP-FUEL-COCK-OFF HOLD LCTL d // TQ 1 BTN 9 ENGINE-START-SWITCH-ON LSHF e // TQ 1 BTN 11 (LIST MODE) FUEL-PUMP-ON LSHF p ENGINE-START-SWITCH-START // PT SHIFTED ACTION BTN 4 IDLE-CUTOFF HOLD LCTL CHARDLY LSHF i // TQ 2 BTN 1 HYDRAULIC-2-RESET HOLD LCTL CHARDLY LSHF p // TQ 2 BTN 3 AHRS-SLAVE-MODE LCTL a // TQ 2 BTN 5 ILS-ON LSHF 3 Can any of the rest of you flying the Hawk confirm what I've put together? TIA
  10. Thanks, again. Gents believe it or not, this isn't my first rodeo. I actually get to work with (read play with) the UH1Y, AH1W, AH1Z and MH60S, in the real world. I played with the AH and UH at MCAS CPEN for 20 years. Now I get to play with the MH60S. I did contact BHTI on an unrelated project I was considering. BHTI wanted mucho dinero for any data they would have to provide as well permission to use any Bell related copyrighted material. I have the material I'd need to pull off the project IF PMA 276 were to grant me authorization to use (for personal use) the material I have available to me.
  11. Yes, I know. I'm in the business ;) Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, Beechcraft
  12. DING DING DING! Thank you! So, again I ask: How does one get a licence through one company that clearly does not represent BHTI?
  13. Agreed, not hard to Google, and I did before I asked the question which led me to more questions and scratching my head saying to myself, hmmmmm
  14. Speaking in riddles? Copyright as in © as in Bell as in, intellectual property OF Bell/BHTI, NOT Skyjet International LLC. How does one get a licence through one company that clearly does not represent BHTI?
  15. Apparently Skyjet International LLC (per the packaging of the module) is whom the licence has been acquired through? Am I mistaken? Like I said, not trying to stir any pot, just trying to be clear. Also, like I've stated, I've worked with Bell and NAVAIR for over 20 years. Bell/BHTI is VERY protective of their intellectual property. They own all the simulator software (the real deal) for the AH and UH currently in the inventory. Oh, and then there's this: http://www.bellhelicopter.com/legal/copyright-notice
  16. BHTI = Bell Helicopters. I've been working with them/NAVAIR for over 20 years.
  17. The lack of replies with 70 (at this point) views, speaks volumes to the "licensing agreement" with BHTI.
  18. I hope. Who is Skyjet International LLC? Not trying to stir any pot here but I know that BHTI covets any and all of their intellectual property. i.e. images, data...
