  1. I can't believe it's actually flyable now! There are still some weird quirks, like it's still a little touchy in hover, but overall amazing update! Great Job!
  2. You guys might want to give Dreamfoil's Bell 407 in Xplane a shot if you are trying to prepare for the Kiowa, It's basically the same aircraft. That's assuming Polychop gets the flight model right...
  3. lmao I offered the same seller $400 for this about 6 months ago! I'm not too salty though, I recently got myself an AS350 grip. Similar style/button layout.
  4. 2 years, be sure! idk I wish they would say at least something. A "Hey guysss lol" every once-in-a-while would be nice :(
  5. no welcome thread only welcome
  6. I'm not asking for a well detailed simulation of each and every electron in a lead-acid type battery, just a simple "battery goes off after x minutes/hours" line/lines of code. Jesus christ
  7. lmao the Gazelle can't even get the batteries right. But seriously though, you do expect for a $60 flight sim to simulate critical airframe components. The CPU argument is bad, the gaz doesn't have much else going on, so a short line of "battery drain" code won't affect PC performance.
  8. How fast are you descending? Sounds like vortex ring state (getting caught in your own downwash)
  9. Make a sticky post explaining these then, posting important info buried in 20+ page threads is not a very effective form of communication. The only answers i've seen explain these almost always blames the SAS, and I can't imagine that's all you guys can say.
  10. "The AP has it's own gyro and is always running" This does not explain why the Gazelle lacks blowback, dissymmetry of lift and left skid high, right skid low takeoff/landing Doesn't explain why yawing doesn't roll the aircraft (and vice versa) Doesn't explain it's overly sensitive controls (can completely loop/roll the aircraft with only less than 10% stick input) I'd also imagine the the AP SAS system would move the pilot's controls, showing what it's doing, like other SAS systems (unless the gazelle doesn't do that IRL, I would have a hard time believing that, if the SAS is linked to the control servos, thus the pilots controls)
  11. If the Gazelle irl had amazing physics-defying blade design and this incredibly stable and easy to fly behavior, how come Aerospatiale dumped it for the AS350?
  12. Unless the French have tapped into some unworldly technology, my understanding is that computers don't affect physics. As stated in other threads before, the Gazelle's behavior is the same with SAS off, it shows me that it's not your SAS programming, but your FM programming.
  13. I thought they developed the Gazelle already
  14. Have you guys tried talking to civilian pilots? I imagine they don't have to go through hoops just to say something :/
  15. So criticism is attacking now? Come on.
  16. ooooooooooh awesome! I don't have 2.1 and I'm impatiently waiting for 1.5.7
  17. My video on the subject of not holding a bank angle. Never got a response from Polychop last time. Maybe now I will?
  18. The Kiowa has been in DCS forever, just not flyable.
