Thank you for the detailed response.

You are correct, your internal categorization of the ticket is not relevant to me, the user.

Am I to understand that.... because a feature was working as described since day one of the module... and best I can search never reported to the developers...that automatically makes it a feature, and not an unreported bug?

Despite your single ejection binding instructing the user to press it 3 times, in congruence with best I can see every module in the DCS ecosystem?

    Thank you.

Uhm, but was it behaving differently beforehand? If not, I doubt this is a "bug" and probably more an intentional feature.

I provide 3 tracks, and this single sentence makes me have to do more work to report this bug.

Here in Heatblur Simulations F-4. The same keybind. No eject on single press. No eject on double press.

as we did it in the Phantom.

I request you remove the default keyboard bindings for this instant ejection command, as pressing 2 random keys in the F4 on accident can lead to an ejection during an immersive mission.

Please also check whatever internal standards exist with ED, I suspect you will find one that stipulates a 3x press of the ejection command, as it is universal among all module makers.

At the very least, x3 needs to be the default, with a single press option available for cockpit builders.

  4. It only takes a single press of the CTRL+E command to initiate an ejection, not the stated repetition of three times.

We discovered this while a friend was in close during a carrier landing, and his cat happened to step on both the Control and E keys of his keyboard at the same time, causing an ejection and crash.

Affects all variants of the Tomcat.

  5. This sounds like AI, and it's been around for probably 15 years. Those AI Hinds are extremely rugged. I'd venture to guess they have to be considering how much they like flying into enemy AI weapons.
