  1. Yeah, from testing it appears to already have this feature. You can adjust the autopilot from the engineer seat, but all you're doing is fighting the AI pilots control inputs. When you resume pilot control, I think perhaps you suddenly have to fight those inputs you had previously made on the panel, and suddenly you're fighting for control. If you don't mess with it, it appears to work fine.. I'm against putting fake flight controls into a seat that doesn't have them.
  2. I have no problems with loss of control when switching to the Flight Engineer seat while in single player. The AI pilot flies around just fine.
  3. I'm happy to report they absolutely took this concern to heart, and you can swap seats in the Hip still, the same as is currently possible in the Huey. GOOD JOB TEAM.
  4. Regardless, it's absolutely possible to launch an ATGM in the front seat, with Petrovich flying in a hover in the back.

  6. M02 Taxi - Takeoff & Climb (CE). One of your cockpit arguments pulls the "C de HYP" Circuit Breaker on the right aft cockpit. It prevents Flaps/Slats extension. Looks like I found your communications issues again (Green radio configuration/frequency) I get stuck on, "2.15.5 TAKEOFF - When the AB is ignited, check RPM and JPT."
  7. I made a mission, and a track for this. Enjoy. Mi24P ATGM Hover Demo.trk The command is, "(Mi-24P Petrovich AI Helper) Petrovich Helper Interface - move UP" (Keyboard default "W"). Long press... it works just beautifully in a hover. In fact, I made the entire flight from the front seat using Petrovich as Pilot. It worked incredibly well. He even retracts and extends the landing gear!
  8. I just looked through a manual for a P-47N, and there's a section on instrument flying. It was equipped with communication radios, a HOMER system, and period IFF. So it could fly radio ranges, home to beacons, and be talked down by a controller giving at least bearings on a QGH approach. That would make it non-precision approach capable. And I assume approved for instrument flight. I believe this would also apply to other variants so equipped. YMMV
  9. Hi, Cold Start has stalled on "retract mirrors for increased performance." I think the cockpit value probably changed on you, I cannot progress after 2 attempts. I tried a click on the mirrors, the "M" key, and pressing the spacebar (despite no prompt). "Mirage F1 - Training - M01 Cold Start (by Rudel_chw).miz"

  12. I don't know why we had to change this from the system that worked wonderfully for years in the Hip. Any chance we can have that same functionality as an option?

  18. I think a good place to start is to see if you accidentally selected Miscellaneous setting "Force Feedback" if you do not have a force feedback joystick.
  19. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you're experiencing this "generator failure" you are most certainly not flying "within completely normal parameters." Your rotor RPM is life. You must maintain control of it at all times.
  20. There's an option in the sound settings for increased AB sound.
