Can't log in to play game! Maybe COVID-19 has infected the system!!!???

Oh Yes it worked! All modules reinstalled and now I'm trying out each module to see if every one works. My last module I bought was the Spitfire, I do hope it'll work cos it said that World 2.5 was needed. Since I haven't tried it,I dunno what to expect. HEre goes...

I think the iconic aircraft will be a benchmark. And in the 'Russian' list, maybe a Mig-31 Foxhound. Just thinking off my head.

Yeah me too..if it wasn't for the BF109 crazy swing experience, I didn't know what to expect. But this Spit is way too fierce and wild like a tail-swagging animal at take-offs! :( I couldn't even go past 0 Boost power and I'm swinging and flipped over. I use keybd as Rudder (Z & X keys) any solutions?? Help:cry_2: Or I couldn't even go past 2500 RPM and it swings hard left and flipped head over heals. And that means I never got off the runway on a Spit up till now.

I just got my Spitfire! Man I thought the BF 109 was hard!!? The Spit is waaaaaay harder...It never got past -2 to 0 Boost power and it always swings to the left (even with my rudder trimmed full right) - and a right wing strike. Is that the problem with the flight model or the joystick axis?? It works fine even on the P-51 or even BF109. I never even got past 2000 rpm and then the wild swing kicked in.

My DCS automatically updates the game. I still don'y understand what needs to be done :( :(... I can't even deactivated..how am I supposed to activate? I have the latest update on my DCS game (as always when the game starts).. I don't know how else and what else to update. I don't know what else and how else to update anything more...is there?? Is that what auto update suppose to do?? HELP!!!! :( :( I haven't flew the MIG-21Bis since that last 2 updates I think..that's when all this started.

Yeah..I've been there myself. No worries.:thumbup: One thing I do (and I always have) is I have my notepads with me. I use the kneeboard just to generally check where my plane is, but before I fly I'd collect all the mission waypoints and study them on the map on the screen (note mountain ranges, key points, terrain features..etc) I would write down bearings, radio freqs or anything I would need to help me fly the mission. Just like a real pilot! :) These notepads will be on my table and I would check them every time. What you want to do is get a 'whole picture' of the map, mission and secondary procedures if anything goes bad. I'd sometimes would sketch out the flight track on my pad..instead of using the kneeboard. THEN...you start your mission. For e.g...If I would to meet up a group of fighter bombers, I would probably want to delay my startup a bit, because I can get up to their altitiude quickly to join up, instead of wasting fuel if I overshoot them. So hope this thoughts help. The word is PREPARATION. :smilewink:

Wished someone did an F4UF Corsair AI plane, 'cos it was used mostly as night fighter-bomber in Korean war. :D

Historics are good! You don't have to follow exactly, but the scenario could be similar. Throw in some B-29s and F-86F escort. That'll be nice.

Wooohooooo!!!! Afterburner problem fixed with the latest updates!!!! I'm ALIVE!!!!! Wahhahaha!!!!!! Sorry guys.... have been flying in practice mode with the MIG-21 for 2 months now. End of holidays... let's fly!

Does anyone think we shhould readdress this problem again to Leatherneck people or not?? I haven't been flying my Mig21 for a month now. :cry_2::cry_2:

I don't have throttle on my joystick. Must be a bug on keyboard command. But still, the fix must be made for keyboard or joystick throttle nonetheless. And I'm still grounded with a classic jet on the tarmac! : (

We'll just have to hope Leatherneck people will release the bug fix soon enough.:smilewink: I'm just doing flight training in my MIG for now - missions will have to wait until I have afterburners.

Ok yup sorry for that, I answered that thread and opened a new one in 'desperation'. Haven't been on this forum for a long while. :( We'll continue on the other thread then.

Thanks for the help yo! :D @PE_Tigar I don't have joystick throttle, but I use keyboard "-" & "+" ...so yea I'll have to wait for the patch then (hope Leatherneck techs are reading this :P) And soon I'll get a new joystick with everything on it. Right now I'm just using my MIG for engagement training against prop planes - can you imagine that! : ( Haha..cos no afterburner available. Thanks anyway, :D

What is first stage and is there a second?? How do you do that?? Previously you'd just maxed the throttle to the end and it lights up! I know there's 2 switches, but I've never used them before??

Hi there. Dunno if there are any threads about this, apologies if I've duplicated one! But I'm desperate. Any news of any new updates/patch for the MIG-21Bis afterburner bug? :helpsmilie: Since the latest update, whenever I go to max power, or into 'afterburner' the engine rpm gauge won't go past 100%. Or are there anything new I've missed?? I've checked that there are no binding errors. The Emergency Afterburner and afterburner switches on the left panel are 'as is' (which is at default, and I guess nobody ever touches). Without afterburners I can't continue any mission - 'cos obviously I can't dogfight. I'm stuck and grounded. :(

Hi HELP! Anybody. I don't use a 'throttle on joystick' but I always use the '+' and '-' keys on my numeric keypad. I usually just pressed '+' all the way and the engine will go into "Afterburner" - normal. Then after the update which was the last one (1.5.3.51417.46) yesterday, the afterburner won't work anymore. The engine RPM would just stay at 100% power - and I've pressed the '+' button all the way. I've tried lighting up the burner with the AB switch and tried Emergency AB to no avail as well. What happened? They are no binding switches conflict, I dunno as I've never changed or touched those.
