After few attempts, I noticed that the radar didn't work properly during the replays. No lock, not the originally displayed range, etc... All the other stuffs seem to be ok (plane position, attitude, etc...).

Thanks for your replies, guys. :thumbup: I know Tacview and it is indeed a very nice tool for analysis but I would like to find a solution for editing videos of my flights (where I could switch between internal and external views freely). Is there another way than tracks to do ?

Hi all, In the process of training, I built for myself a mission where I can practice the basic flight maneuvers and AA combat (nothing better than shooting Antonovs like sitting ducks :D). I placed two orbiting An at 25000 ft and after my takeoff, I turned towards the juicy targets. I locked one, waited for the right distance and shot...to kill. The same for the other unfortunate Antonov. I made a quite nice landing, I was quite happy as I begin to feel comfortable with this lovely plane. It was legitimate that I wanted to see that again so I opened the track file and watched it. Everything was ok until I noticed (without changing view nor sim speed) that the target were not locked and the missiles took a completely different path than originally. Even the targets were not at the same place (or it was my plane...?). Did you guys notice the same problem ? I knew when one changes the sim speed it could corrupt the track but this time I just let the replay go without touching anything. Is there a way to fix that ? How do you guys do to record your flights and upload nice videos with internal and external views ??! Thanks for your help,

Be sure too that the HUD is not in test mode.

The problem is I can't get a good rate of descent with the recommended approach speed. If I try to approach at a speed of let's say 160-170 kts my descent is too fast, if I want to slow it down, my AoA gets too big... I can't figure right now how to do it, but I am sure I'll get it ;) Strangely, I do not have any problem to stop the plane before the end of the runway, even at a touchdown speed of 170 (that is the slowest I achieved). I just keep the nose up until 100 kts and slowly push the stick, apply gently the wheelbrakes until 30 kts and then use the nose wheel for steering to reach the parking area.

Excellent landing VJS. It is very hard to achieve IMHO, I haven't yet succeeded in making a nice one (always too fast at touchdown).

I can't believe what I am reading... You guys were acting like children to get your xmas toy ASAP, promising that you wouldn't whining if it were buggy and now it is out and playable, you are using big words for complaining that it is not a beta. Just enjoy the module, practice the plane and just wait for more updates that will surely fix all the bugs, complete the module and finally give us the full product. I am fully confident RAZBAM won't let us down on this one. Many thanks for the hard work already done and good luck for what it needs to be done left. I am an happy Frenchman with his French toy. :)

Thanks for the info. However, and sorry if I was not clear, I meant technical and operational documents. Like the Mig-21bis pilot's flight operating instructions that can be found on the net, for example.

I even think the opposite, stuff about western aircrafts are much more difficult to find. Plus who could buy a western 70s fighter jet for less than $100,000 ? The two combined make the soviet era planes less secretive than the others...
