  1. Give it a "CAS" task and some enemy ground units within range, and it should just work. I like keeping its altitude to above 8500' or so. Reaper vs 4 T-90 tanks.miz
  2. OK, reducing the Smerch count from 40(!) to 10 makes it doable here.
  3. Adjusted settings, no change. dcs.log-20240206-101723.zip
  4. Not my mission, can't recall where it came from. Requires A-10C, don't need to fly anywhere, I just go to the F2 view and let it run. Consistent crash following an onscreen message "Hawgs inbound..." I've tried Low/Medium/High graphics presets, no difference, same crash. dcs.log-20240206-093444.zip FPShellNight.miz
  5. I just ran a 2.9 mission, and this is the first I've seen this "seeing through trees" in a long while. It's nuts, both sides firing endlessly at each other and starting forest fires. wildFire.trk
  6. According to Nick Grey, not likely. 1:00:58 if the link fails...
  7. Single threaded, flat screen. Before update, 1:45 to main menu. After update, 4:45. Edited to add - why is this an "Installation Problem" ? dcs.log
  8. Yes, I've never seen my theme reset before. Ever. What does an authentication fiasco have to do with a setting saved in Saved Games is beyond me. Yet here we are.
  9. Still a problem as of this posting. No fix after nearly a year?
  10. Yes lack of smoke is part of the problem. Close in, I'm used to seeing 'sparkles' from the bomblets, also tanks taking damage no longer show 'smoke', that wispy stuff they normally emit after a hit
  11. I am not seeing much/any MLRS weapons effects on ground units, like smoke from an impacted tank or the sparklies/smoke from the weapon. Units are getting damaged and the sound appears fine. All is fine in the latest un-MT beta. DCS settings are on High preset. M270_vs_T90.trk dcs.log DxDiag.txt
  12. Yes, @Flappie you are correct, but changes that followed reversed the behavior, then fixed it, broke it again, finally solved again - over a period of FOUR YEARS. Only to break it again, 9 months later (December 2022 is when I noticed it). It seemed to be the easiest way to show the history of this reoccurring bug, I was wrong. Thanks for reporting it.
  13. Yes, refer to the quoted thread in my OP. The prior fix was to toggle between the target marker and the target. Now its stuck and extremely hard to get to the targeted vehicle.
  14. Your video isn't selecting the underlying target once set. CA add target2.trk
  15. My thinking here is that if a unit is on road, and you add a waypoint that is off road, do a google-style on road map route that gets you close. Then go off road. That would be nice behavior. Wish list?
  16. I tried your ca_pf1.trk. If you want to get some reasonable behavior, ensure your added waypoint is also on road. Seemed to work OK for me in that case.
