Seem to have fixed the not taxiing part, I found the characters on the carrier and managed to delete them. Now the game just crashed every single time I start a mission. I noticed a little error message in the bottom of the screen when it crashed, took a picture of it with my phone and added it to this mail. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am trying the Hornet PG campaign now, but I am running into to some issues...:( First of all, my wingman won't move towards the cat, doesnt matter what I do. It was suiggested earlier that removing all items on the front of the CV in the base_mission file would fix that, but for some reason I don't see any items on the front of the CV in that mission. Just the static planes. Secondly, sometimes just after I spawn I get a CTD. Looking in external view the plane suddenly changes into its damaged model, after which the game crashes. Are there any known fixes for these 2 problems? Or is it just another case of ED fixing 1 thing in an update and breaking 5 other things? Can't wait to try out the campaign in all its glory, it looks like just the thing that DCS needs!

Alright, tried again today, unfortunately same results. I did find out that it is the T-55 that kills him, he gets shot the second that T-55 spawns, just after the first call comes in for inbound enemy troops. Weirdly tho, after i got the Schaeffer killed message, he was still on the radio, and the mission continued as if he was still alive. After landing I got 2 debriefings at once, the succesful one and the failed one. Campaign didnt advance. I was planning on getting you a track and some screenshots of what was happening, unfortunately my game crashed when I tried to exit the mission, and it corrupted both the track and the screenshots...

Hey BD, first of all thanks for the amazing campaign so far! Unfortunately I keep running into a game breaking bug at the moment... In mission 10 (Birds of Prey) where you rescue Schaeffer, I get him towards the farm with no problem. Every enemy is dead at this moment (the roadblock, the 3 UAZ's and the AA). However, when all hell breaks loose after he reaches the farm, he just dies instantly and the mission is failed. I get a call that an enemy is approaching from the mosque, Schaeffer dies a second later, and then I get a call that a T55 has been spotted. There is no time to respond, and I don't think you intended it like this. I have done the mission 4 times now, everytime this happens. I really do hope there is a fix, because I am seriously enjoying this amazing campaign!

Ah of course, for some reason I thought of radar as a radar wall coming from the nose, but that makes no sense. When seeing it as a cone I understand what I did wrong, thanks! And yeah I was able to see them in HI setting. Lets see if I got this right: -hi prf: long range targets and head on targets. -hi-med: unknown targets or general scanning. -med: shorter range and hard maneuvering targets. Does that seem right? Can't see russian radar contacts Ah I understand, stupid that I didn't think of that. Thanks for the explanation! Ill try it again tonight. I've also found that I am able to see the 2 cap flights at 50nm when scanning in hi prf setting. They dont show up in med-hi since they are flying head on at fairly long distance. But I set my radar to scan between 0 and 41000 ft, it should scan 2000ft right? And I also couldnt see the enemy cap flight flying at 25000ft Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

Looking for all F-15 veterans out there. On the first mission in the F-15C red flag canpaign where you fly cap for incoming US flights, i was practicing with my radar to kill time. Problem was, those russian flights never showed up on my radar, even tho i had it set to the correct altitude and range. They were around 50 miles away from me flying at angels 25, but with my radar set to 80 miles, prf at med-hi and my elevation at 0-41000 I did not see them. Dis I do something wrong or forget something?
