  1. For me the performance is just terrible after the patch. I'm having ~20 FPS instead of +35FPS. No mods installed, newest GPU drivers, deleted FXO and metashaders folders.
  2. Yes it is different perspective but the error is very obvious. Real fairing is flattened while on the model is arc shape - I've marked panel lines to show it more clearly. Obviously I have no access to in game 3D model, so I cannot align perspectives, but it does not matter in this case - an arc seen from whatever perspective will never give you shape like on the photo.
  3. Since MiG-19 is going to be released soon I wanted to point out some 3D model inaccuracies ie. incorrect shape of wing-fuselage fairing. I know the 3D model may be still WIP. The reason why I’m pointing that out is because both M2000 and Harrier 3D models have their inaccuracies still not corrected since release and I’m hoping it won't be the case with MiG.
  4. I'm experiencing the same issue (2560x1440 resolution as well)

    Next Q&A?

Are there any plans to correct numerous inaccuracies of MiG-21BIS external model that is going to be part of Modern Air Combat in order to bring it to ED quality level?
  6. As title says: AI MiG-21dispense flares although not equipped with ASO or SPS
  7. Q: Will runways in NTTR/DCS2 follow uneven terrain or they will be flat?
  8. Q: Are there any HUD improvements planned ie. - symbology "glow" at higher luminosity settings - russian aircraft HUD " symbology misalignment" and symbology font and size adjustments -tracked target box misalignment and refresh rate improvements?
  9. I don’t remember this happening before - Suction relief door stays open when engine shut down on the ground. If I’m not mistaken they are free moving and articulated by pressure difference. After engine is shut down and there is no pressure difference they should be closed.
  10. As far as crazy spin is concerned I think the reasons for that are: Lack of pivot point on chutes rope. At slow airspeed when turning (or having side wind) drag chute should tilt to the side decreasing arm of the force trying to rotate aircraft. Currently the drag chute is rigidly mounted to the aircraft. Second reason may be improper drag simulation. Drag of the chute in X direction should be bigger than in Y or Z direction since area of the chute is different in mentioned directions. If this is not simulated than in crosswind situation torque applied to the aircraft would be too big causing crazy spin ( amplified by lack of pivot point) Pls. see attached track file. drag chute.trk
  11. Regarding brake pressure sound – I can hear it with the engine running which seems to be odd. Even during flight with canopy jettisoned sound is there. I can imagine that when pilot wears helmet and engine is running this sound should be not audible at all (or barely audible) since engine loudness is much greater that some air going through the valve.
