I did - there was some odd stuff with audio preview but it looks like the normal radio should work fine as no errors there. Sorry not around this weekend but will be next week! I'll send over some times in discord next week and maybe we can take a look together? The error is missing opus.dll - this is due to an installation error. Did you by any chance just drag the exe out of the zip or drag it from where it was installed? Either way - easy fix! Just rerun the installer and make sure to run the radio from where it was installed

Sorry can you give some more detail? What's not working? Really really glad to hear those are both fixed. Worked hard on solving both so that's really great news! Thanks! There will be another patch later next week to help with VoIP stability but overall latest version should be fine for most :) Once that's out I can start on new features! Thanks for the good times! Great server :) Still my favourite day on DCS was on openconflict with the German Ww2 fighter attack on the Russian carrier! We failed. But it was glorious! P.s. wasn't Moose for SRS, it was me hosting [emoji14] Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

New RELEASE Version - 1.4.2.0 .NET Version - PLEASE INSTALL THIS or it may not work: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=53345 Windows 8/10 N Users - PLEASE INSTALL THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK - Adds the media codecs you need which are removed in the N Version - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions - You'll know when you get the audio initialisation error :) Bug fix release to fix the dropout from 1.4.1.0 - Please update Servers & Clients for the best results Preliminary support for Harrier :pilotfly: This version is incompatible with all versions before 1.4.1.0 and ALL Clients and Servers must be on this version or newer SERVER OWNERS - You need to open an extra TCP port for SRS to work and its +1 above your normal server port. I.e if you run a server on 5002 you need to open port 5002 and 5003 for TCP KNOWN BUG If you get lag while using the radio, press L Ctrl + L Shift + L to fix. This is a DCS bug i'm trying to work around and is triggered by pressing L Ctrl + L. It doesn't matter if that key is bound or not, it'll still cause lag when you press it Changelog Preliminary Harrier support - Very WIP as Radios are still under development Fix for audio dropout / cutoff from 1.4.1.0 Switched to all TCP for Audio Server owners please note you'll need to allow an extra port 1 above the existing port you've opened. I.e port 5002 now needs 5002 and 5003 open for TCP Traffic Overlay and Overlay Configuration The overlay has 3 states, hidden, small & full that you can see by pressing Left Control + Left Shift + Escape by default. The Full state has a title bar that you can click and drag the window around with. The window position will be saved for when DCS is next opened. The radio status is removed after 5 seconds if SRS is closed or loses server connection To configure the overlay hotkey, run DCS once to create a config file in Saved GamesDCSConfig which will look something like so and quit DCS: config = { ["mode"] = "minimum", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+escape", ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config Edit the "Hotkey" section and add the characters from the keyboard you'd like to use instead. i.e config = { ["mode"] = "minimum", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+1", -- now uses the combination of ctrl shift and 1 together to toggle ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config Dont forget to restart DCS after editing this file or you wont see the changes. If you want to remove the overlay entirely and never use it, just delete: DCS-SRS-Overlay.dlg DCS-SRS-OverlayGameGUI.lua In Saved GamesDCSScripts Preset Channel Configuration Preset channels can be created for all FC3 aircraft and all expansion radios for Non FC3. Channel presets are created per Radio - full list of names & frequencies here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tzd996zJ1t0heZ-t1PpL7vNUIZbXl7pI6De0GThN1Qw/edit#gid=1869108790 ) Preset files are named after the radio (no special characters needed & case is ignored) and are text files with a single frequency on each line. For example, to create a fixed channel list for the first UHF radio in the F15C: Create a file called ANARC-164 UHF1.txt or anarc164 UHF1.txt where you installed SimpleRadio Standalone (where the client exe is), add frequencies and save. The file will be automatically loaded when that radio appears on an aircraft. The frequency list can also be manually reloaded with the reload button. The files are per radio not per aircraft. As always, thanks for the support and let me know if there are any issues! Complete Transport and Logistics Deployment - CTLD

Sorry no, try getting me on discord here https://discord.gg/baw7g3t :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
If you see that happened - valid connection but no PTT it means the VOIP TCP connection hasn't connected so you'll need to open the additional 5003 port alongside 5002 :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

It's a fairly major change so thanks for letting me know! I've been flying on BF today but not seen or heard the same issue - just to rule out a connectivity issue - would you mind trying this server: 5.189.162.17:5012 If that works - try your server without Line of Sight and Distance limitations to see if that helps. Was everyone experiencing the same issue or just some? Any particular commonalities in soundcard & physical location compared to the sever? Could you try setting a PTT button to the keyboard temporarily just to check its nothing with the input code when polling other devices like joysticks? If its easier - Get me on discord

Made some changes to AI placeholders - Good news! Stutters seem almost gone now for spawns & respawns :) Mig21 countermeasures are confirmed working as well -

I've reset and redone all the warehouses, mig21 flares should be fixed. Let me know if not! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
Try the two settings - hide radio taskbar item and auto refocus DCS Make sure to close and open the overlay when you turn those two on. That part of the codes not changed so hopefully that'll fix it!

Then you don't need it.... As I said :) This package is only required to add the resampler into windows IF you're running a Windows N version that it's not installed on. If you can't install the package or don't have an N version you don't need to install any Windows packages. Just install SRS and it'll work. Any other support get me on Discord. Link in release post and SRS software :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Yes only for N versions of windows as it says. I'd try it first - if you've ever used it before or have windows media player installed you'll be fine

No its here - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/968211 Just listed for 8/ 10 as assumed most people are running that

Complete Transport and Logistics Deployment - CTLD
Ciribob replied to Ciribob's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Please post a tiny sample mission with the CTLD script showing the issue and I'll see if I can debug it. The JTACAutolase script isn't supported anymore, just the one built into standalone :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
No worries! Hopefully something will work or at least make sense why it's not working.... :/ Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

The frequencies are in the KHz AM range so you need to use the ADF set in the Huey or Mi8 :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Complete Transport and Logistics Deployment - CTLD
Ciribob replied to Ciribob's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Sorry that's not built into the standard script but it's relatively easy to add something like you cannot unpack within X meters of any friendly logistics zone BlueFlag has the limit where only repair crates can be moved between friendly zones, any other friendly crate cannot be unpacked within 10 km of any friendly base, regardless of where it came from. Would that same behaviour work for you? If so might be able to add in the weekend. Sorry for the slow reply. Replied to your other question in another thread :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
Please post the error log as a post attachment as the error window says. :) The clientlog.txt is in the folder where you ran the radio from. Does the folder where you run SRS from contain opus.dll or have you accidentally dragged the program out of where it was installed somewhere else? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Make a mission with one unit on it, the one you want to find the name for and name the unit something memorable. Save mission Rename miz to .zip Open the file called mission in the zip with a good text editor Search for the name of the unit in the file and you should see the type name close by in the LUA Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Sure! Entirely possible :) But with the size and amount of data transferred and the fact most people have a stable connection with plenty of bandwidth we should be fine. Packets are around 100 bytes (!) for 80 milli seconds of audio (depending on audio, silence is smaller). Most transmissions are short and there aren't that many simultaneous transmissions as well. The reason I've not switched to TCP until now was my worry over those issues but seems fine from testing. I would like to go back to UDP but I still need to find the real reason for the issue, either jitter buffer or packet drop or reordering issue. Still never managed to reproduce locally, with two different internet connections so I don't think it's just one thing. If this works and is stable I'll finish off a bunch of features and guaranteed delivery of TCP takes away many headaches and makes some features much easier to do. The TCP connection is a long lived one to help with latency i.e no teardown and setup and nagles is off so packets go when I ask them too. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Good news, the mixing / distortion issue should be pretty much solved in the next release. Server owners will have to update before clients can connect and switch on an extra TCP port in the firewall as audio is now over TCP instead of UDP. Thanks to all for helping me test! Aiming for weekend release or earlier time dependant :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - Nevada - Round 1
Ciribob replied to Ciribob's topic in Multiplayer
Stats tracking is still be worked on, should be working but it can be a little unreliable due to DCS events. Map was reset last night Use the TacView Dropbox link in the first post of this thread. It's produced by the server so will have all units in it. :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
Sorry for the slow reply Make sure to Start DCS from a shortcut with the flag --old-login added If you dont use that, it skips the login prompt and the authentication part and therefore the starting of the server :) Will add to first post soon or from CMD like so: start "" "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\bin\DCS.exe" --old-login
