The AC Phase selector only selects which phase is shown on the voltmeter. Try using external power if the battery is low (and it will get weak after a failed try or two). P.S. Why are you sorry? This is what the forum is for. I made (and still make) plenty of errors in the sim and on the forum (oh, and in my life...)

I don't see the problem, you should start with the INVRT off and switch to MAIN ON after the engine is running (according to the checklist).
