  1. A soldier broadcasting with a FM beacon seem to me more realistic then placing NDB in the crash site (or I might be wrong). Yes, for some reason I also got the Britney signal very late compere to the Huey (36nm vs 15nm). P.S. The Britney beacon was supposed to go with the second beacon being a Death Metal beacon, but it didn't came out good, so I left the Spears... (good thing there is a volume knob).
  2. Understood, thank you.
  3. Good point, I will. P.S. I love the MI-8 but way something so easily done in the Huey (like tuning to FM beacon) is so complicated in the Mi-8...
  4. I will put the mission up from 1900 til 2130 UTC. Server name: ****Body Farm Beacon Test**** Pass: body Frequencies are: (and also in the briefing) 1. FARP_HOPE: 50MHz (Britney Spears song:music_whistling:) 2. Crash site: 66MHz (Beacon sound) Hope it is possible for me to host and you will see the server. I have attached the modified mission if someone want to test it. If we can make it work tonight, it's a deal. (Although, I doubt I can teach you anything about the mission editor, I'm sure you know how to place them). MP_AIRMOBILE_AIR_ASSAULT_MISSION2_BEACON.miz
  5. Just to clarify regarding the checklist. The "Stall Test" is "PERFORM/ON" while as I understand it should be "PERFORM/RESET/OFF". (The "master" stall switch is already on from the interior inspection checklist). The generator section is also a little off with the ON and OFF (since there is a combination of two switches to perform the test). Thanks

  7. Sweet! Thank you very much!
  8. I'm UTC+3, but I am available any time this weekend. I have added infantry broadcasting on FM to the Chuck's mission (next to the FARP and the C-130) and had no problem getting reception from about 34-36nm away (range is a bit lower because of the mountains). If you or anyone else would like to test it a client, just name the time. Edit: Although, I never tried to host, so I don't know if it is possible from me computer.
  9. Sure thing, tell me what hour
  10. Hi Can anybody explain the "Stall Warning System Test" switch function? I know how to do the test (the sequence) but can someone explain in more detail the function of the up and down positions (I know what the OFF does...:music_whistling:) Same for the "Engine Generator Test" Switch? What is the GF and the OV positions? Thanks in advance P.S. Had this module for a while but only recently started to mess with it, and it is actually quite a nice little plane. So good job and thank you AvioDev! Looking forward to the upcoming updates.
  11. The only MP test I did was creating a new server and running the mission on it. It worked but I don"t know if that is enough
  12. I've tested the FM on this mission from 40nm away with no problems (Post #7): http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=142252&highlight=fm
  13. Hi Seem to me like the Transmitter wave lock and the Antenna tuning lock are Reversed. The Antenna locks the transmitter and vise versa (See picture attached). Thanks Edit: Fixed
  14. Me me me me! Huey slick, thanks. Really appreciate the effort Chuck. You are a blessing to this community.
  15. It is a known bug. According to Matt the logbook will work in 1.5
  16. oh boy... I've been working this week on sea night approach and the combination of water and darkness with the NVG can be quite deceiving... Great job again Chuck, Love the challenge (hope the lag won't kill me)
  17. LOL :megalol: Would also love the challenge. I can deal with it on SP, but can I make it under pressure on MP.... hmm :hmm:
  18. It is the same on the standalone. They are in the mission section instead of the training.
  19. Hell yeah!!:joystick:
  20. I feel that adding planes will be a downgrade and not an upgrade to this helicopter mission. Just my feeling, might be wrong.
  21. Good stuff, thanks. Small mod but really helpful (I always forget what radio is what number, getting old...)
  22. Belsimtek can defiantly make great helicopters! So sad that there are no news about the Cobra and the Mi-24.
  23. WOW Chuck! Great work on both the movie and the Mudspike report. Can't wait for the next event.

  25. There has been rumors out there, but we can now announce it officially: "The Huey is the most fun module on DCS!" (Maybe not the most advance are complicated but the most fun). First time flying the Huey in an organized event and I had a blast. Big thanks to chuck and the 229th. Great flying by everyone. It was after 2am where I live and I could have gone for many more hours! We definitely need more Helos events.
