  1. Yeah i dont run Black Shark through DCS World its run as a stand alone module. I guess its due to the fact Black Shark was i think the first ever simulation created by the DCS people.
  2. Hey guys I've been trying to to see if Black Shark can be recorded in Tacview for flight appraisal and analysis however Tacview is not recording any ACMI files when I've finished my flight. How can Tacview be instructed to record Black Shark version 1.0.2 flight data? Is it possible? Any info will be greatly appreciated

  4. So I should have 1. heading hold off, 2. hit auto turn to target, 3. When nose turns onto the target hit heading hold to hold the nose in place? is that correct or should heading hold be on to start with?

  6. Hello community, I have an infuriating problem surfacing when attempting to deploy weapons in the Black Shark. The Shark never seems capable of keeping its nose pointed in one direction it constantly spins and sways aimlessly. Despite my attempts at incessantly switching the heading hold AP on and off again to try and force it to hold at the parameters I want, but it never seems to stick the nose in place. So I have to fight to keep the boresight on the enemy while maintaining weapon systems lock on enemy target. Does anybody have any idea how to mitigate this problem, for example how can I force the nose of the Shark to follow my shkval for example. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this fundamentally prevents smooth safe and effective combat for me in the shark

I am trying to download DCS F-15C training videos from this website http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/video/ however the F-15C training video download turns out to be corrupted and infected with malware when I try to use it. Is there an alternative training video source for the F-15C around?

  9. Hello community. I am inevitably going to encounter very severe conditions during combat missions in the Shark, therefore I wonder if anybody knows the correct procedure that must be carried out when engines sustain damage and become engulfed in flames or what to do when EKRAN detects bad engine vibrations. When such faults or break downs occur I have no idea what to do to save the chopper, I know the Shark features a host of redundant systems, fire extinguishing and backups. How do I go about using such systems to save the chopper and keep it going long enough to make it back to a FARP for repairs?

  11. Yeah, I am exploring the autopilot channels and other systems, I think I'm beginning to understand the fundamentals of this incredibly complicated machine.

  13. I am very new to DCS: Black Shark and I am currently grappling with the trimming function. I use a non feedback stick. During flight I pitch down on the cyclic to make forward level flight, I hit the trim button and release, upon release I instantly release my hold of the cyclic sending it springing to the center, I hope the trim fixes the cyclic to the position I desire, however the trim does not seem to function and upon release of cyclic the nose of the heli pitches straight up. Despite my attempts at releasing the trim button and quickly letting go of the stick, the trim never seems to hold the cyclic in place and my heli nose goes straight up. Does anybody have any ideas on how to resolve this, trimming is a must for Ka-50 combat missions but without having it function correctly I cant even begin to enjoy the rest of the simulation.
