Yes, it is exactly what should be done in the U.S side. (and IMO obama wins the election is good for the future of the U.S) However, those SEA countries don't care about what the U.S people are suffering with. They are just want to relax and let the U.S to deal with the problem. I am NOT joking and that's why i said that my country China can easily take over the control of the region. The SEA countries just want the good things without working hard. As for the N.Korea, think you have read the news about the missile thingy. it feels like this world relies too much on the U.S and U.S along.

As a Chinese I have to say I am impressed with all the arguments and comments in this thread. Most of the other threads in the news websites are just full with "it is a like shit, anyone can sink it easily" stuffs. Actually i am in a strange position right now. Grow up in China, but spend the last 10 years study in Singapore, thus i actually know both sides, their ideology and strategy etc. 1st of all i have to say that the carrier which is developed by China IS an aggressive approach. Seriously, who will be so desperately in need for a carrier that he decides to rebuild the Varyag. (if you know what has been done to it before shipping to China) The usage of the carrier will be mostly to train carrier crews and pilots, BUT it is still a mobile weapon platform which can create serious potential damage to most of the countries in SEA region. (to U.S and Japan I don't think so.) As for which doctrine that the Chinese will follow, I do believe that China is following the U.S (in naval design and build up), or at least the Chinese are taking the U.S as a model that to learn from. (just look at the China J-15 takeoff from carrier video, the crew setup and action they use) And while China has already trying to pass the stage of cheap and low cost production, the desire for resource, especially oil is obvious and that is one of the reason for China to take stand on both territorial conflicts with Japan and SEA countries. Now, about SEA. Being in Singapore for 10 years and look around the neighbors I have to say if they lose the south china sea, they brought this to themselves. (maybe i am too cruel) The problem is other than Singapore and India, the SEA countries lack in military power in EVERY aspect. (you can wiki) Most of the SEA countries rely TOO MUCH on the U.S regarding on military power, and what they do is to take their own sweet time and corrupt their own country. Yes, many people here might know how corrupted the Chinese government is, however the reason that we all know the corruption is because the Chinese are trying to correct it by bring the problems out to the sun. What happened in the SEA region is the corruption has been so bad that most regular people can do nothing about it. Thus, while OBAMA starts to focus on rebuilding U.S and reduce military spending by NOT getting involved in too many conflicts, the SEA country realize they do not have the strength nor power to over come the presents of China. (recently the conflict between China and Philippine few months back) Thus they are crying for help on the U.S to bring balance back to the region. However as all of you know that just ASIA itself U.S has to bring power to 3 parts, 01. N.Korea vs S.Korea 02. China vs Japan and Russia vs Japan 03 China vs Taiwan. Now it requires another fleet to operating in south china sea which makes total of 4 regions to take care of, that is not even counting the middle east, Iran and etc. The recent "the economist" magazine has also pointed out this problem that OBAMA tries to focus on U.S yet the world is asking for the balance of power EVERYWHERE. Thus the absence of the U.S in SEA region makes the China carrier a much more big treat and topic. As China will not stop building the new carrier (most likely the similar design of the U.S with catapult, people will say it is a copy again lol) and increase its naval power (just look at the speed that we are building the 054 series) with the SEA countries still fighting with each other or corrupting their own country. South china sea will eventually being the paradise and training field for the Chinese. IMO

Hi Sir/Mdm: I brought a A-10C cd key from Steam. My question now is that, will this key work for DCS world? or is it only workable for DCS A-10C stand along version? Also, may i know if i activate the game in DCS world, how should i back up my activation? is there any needs of backing up registration like FC1 and FC2? thank you !

IMO it should not be called FC3. It should be called DCS: basic(or something like that). So that this "basic" version will be the platform for all DCS series. no more lock on, no more FC, they are the past, and DCS is the future. so all the lock on and FC players will join up to the new DCS community so that no confusion regarding about version and other unwanted conflicts. ( just like how Cliffs of dover will take over il2 1946 in the next few years with patches and expansions. ) And last, sell it cheap (half the price of DCS A-10/Ka-50) and most importantly, make it STAND ALONE and ONLY work with DCS series. so that we all move forward together and no one is left behind. just like from flanker 2.5 to lock on/ LOFC1,2. just my 2 cent

something for ED and the Publisher.. 1st, the game is great. awesome. superb nice! And i will surely buy the copy rigt verison , If possilbe preorder it.. the things that i wanna says is that NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, the people who want to get the pirate version, they WILL get the pirate version. This is economic, there is demand, there will be supply. So all the SF, disc check, online regist activation, ALL of these ,only will trouble the ppl who buy the copy right version. they got to worry about how many times they have installed this game, how is the damage of the disc dude to everyweek Disc check, and etc... For the ppl who love this game, they will buy the copy right and all the upcoming aircraft mods. However, if the 1st game itself have lots of installation ,and usage problems, it will simplely let all the ppl who like the game to give up or feel angry.. Do you still remeber LOMAC? the disc problem? i brought 2 original copies, and in the end, i have to went online to download a pirate version. THAT'S SAD.. ppl like us, will play this game for a LONG TIME.. just the same as ur have planed, your will release one aircraft time by time. And that will take like 2 or 3 years? look at LO then you will know. So plz, can your make something that will benefit all the copy right users in the long run? And, there is NO WAY you can prevent pirate versions (look at mass effect), but there is NO WAY that you can force the ppl who LOVES your game to not spend money on your products... Don't think starforce is good ... i mean.. it has been cracked... I have heard this sayings, for those starforce games that have not been cracked, it means that the game is not popluar.. think again, if any game like crysis, COD4 is using starforce, i think team like Razor 1911 will just easily do the job... Moreover, the bad thing about starforce is that, if u have a dvd burner, you will have troubles. And starforce kills your cd... my poor cd....

em... whatever is new in BS, might be hard to get it in LOMAC/FC .. so y not just make whatever we have better? my wish list.. 1. Fix missiles and FM ( all understands ) 2. Fix bugs such as crash during playing (memory dump) and aircraft bugs 3. Upgrade the Aircraft if possible (a better air to ground, air to aire, or etc).. to make the game more attractive and FUN! 4. A better airfield.. not only in Russia styles, player may choose either NATO/Russia styles.. and add more OBJECTS to make it like a real airfield not as some durty roads... that's all.... all the best to ed for the upcoming BS....

ah... physics..... i did it quite bad for my A levels... sian.... ok.. back to the main topic.... let's don't talk about missile 1st.. think about a bullet/gun/cannon that is on the aircraft.. if the speed of the bullet hits 1km/min (just for an example), then what will be the speed of the bullet during a dogfight? (ok, bullet is small, so do not consider other facts, we just keep this simple). ok, the speed is still 1km/min, but the question is, to who? if during a dogfight, both aircrafts are at speed of 0.5km/min(just for an example), then for both aircraft, the bullet fly at a speed of 1km/min.. however, to a man who is standing on the ground, who do not move and watch this dog fight.. what will the bullet's speed be? 1.5km/min or 0.5km/min? (if happens that the aircrafts fly horizontally pass by him) ok.. case 2.. droping bombs... the basic of caculation that i learn is simple.. horizontal wise, the speed on the bomb is given by the speed of the aircraft; vertical wise, the speed is the gravitational force that is acting on it.. ( basic caculation ) so.. from the 2 examples above, when a missile is lunched from an aircraft, it will have the speed of the aircraft as the initial speed... just back to the bullet case, now we change the bullet.. if the black bird is flying at a speed of mach 3.3.. so now, we put a mp44, or any gun which will not give the bullet a flying speed greater than 3.3... so if the bullet DO NOT take the speed of the aircraft as initial speed, it means that when it is shooted out, it will just stay inside the gun and break the gun cos the bullet travels slower than the gun.... but if that is ture... so, my stand is that the missile will take the speed of the aircraft as a initial speed..... but is that simple 4mach + 3.3mach???? if everything works fine and their is no 3rd force (like gravity,air, any funny problem due to production, bla bla bla) and the last thing i want to say is that, in the book of "Art of Kill" it has this sayings... lunch your missil at your topspeed, after you lunch it.. reduce speed... so that it will cost more time for enemy's missil to fly to you and wasted it's energy(in a head on case).

Talk about money or price, what i want to say is that, to get a LOMAC is not that difficult. I mean, at least in my home country CHINA. A copy right(i mean real copy right) LOMAC is only 20RMB (1 US dollar = 7.8RMB). IT IS cheap, however, the problem is that to get LOFC is a bit troublesome.For people like me who studys outside of the country/understands english is ok.(i can buy it at online shop or from ED directly) However, the remainly people have to wait for others to deliver the LOFC for them. (From 3GO) So what i am thinking is that the selling strategy may change a bit, i mean just a suggestion, cos most of the ppl know LOMAC, but not all of them know that there is actually LOFC/LOBS.. Above all, thx ED for this great game.( but still wish that there will be F-18 or ground crew?? XD)

Yap... as u said.. BS is really a great add on! em.. just think that for BS, there is only Ka-50, for US side do not have any.(like AH-64D) then will not be able to have heli dogfight~~~ :Dthink i am talking rubish also

:( that's y i feel a bit sad... cos they say 1.2 will be the last add on after LOFC... and LO 2.0 is like stars in the sky... can only dream... and more over, LOFC itself have all the elements for F-18/A ( i think ).. if we can't have a real F-18A, can we have a 80% real F-18/A? (use the A-10 system for ground atk):D
