I guess it has yet to be implemented, it has been shown in the April 2022 update video (start at 2:06): but it does not appear in the latest changelog, so - as Wags says at the beginning of the video - it's probably arriving "a bit later".

Confirmed, please fix it because it's REALLY annoying and often slows down operations, especially in MP. EDIT: @BIGNEWY let me understand, you mean that it works like this also IRL? I ask because I am not aware of this and, to be honest, sounds quite strange to me.

E' possibile che lo facciano, prendendo per buono che le coordinate indichino che effettivamente è lo scenario Afghanistan ad essere in arrivo (e non il C-130 o che altro che magari nessuno ha notato) non dicono nulla su quanto sarà estesa la mappa e quali zone comprenderà.
