  1. There's a lot of missing details in there, for instance, the afterburner combustion rings and the turbine behind it are just 1 single low res texture instead of proper 3d models. I hope they can improve this a little bit or just use the f-16 nozzle altogether if possible.
  2. Running lastest OB, single player, this bug occurs during the ejection sequence. Pilot turns into a low poly model and the seat vanishes. Besides, it triggers external ground equipment on the airplane.
  3. The canopy loses it's textures when it's jettisoned and during the ejection sequence.
  4. During ejection the pilot helmet and chute have no textures.
  5. As the title reads, the turbine animation at the back of the engine is still bugged. It used to work correctly before patch 2.5.1.16978 Update 1 (May May 11th 2011 ). Works perfectly on AI controlled Mig though, but not when flown by the player.
  6. Yeah, the nozzle on the Tomcat is animated, on the Viggen it's not, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to. What I was referring to is the high pressure turbine at the back of the engine, it's currently static but it should spin depending on engine RPM, like the fans at the front, inside the intakes, you can see the move when starting up the plane, at least on the F-14. Maybe they can use the one on the F-16, given that both planes used similar GE F110 engines instead of wasting time modelling and animating the whole thing. I think the JF-17 uses ED's Mig-29 model. Not really a priority though, but I've noticed these small details on cheaper modules, and given how good the Tomcat is, perhaps they could add these final touches.
  7. Nope, almost all of the planes include this feature, except the ones developed by Heatblur. I also noticed they are the only 3rd party not properly modelling and animating the engine exhaust on their planes.
  8. Well, actually it's not entirely unrealistic. During the 1982 Falklands War, a single AM-39 Exocet (169 kg warhead) launched by an Argentine Navy Super Etendard struck HMS Sheffield, a Royal Navy Type 42 destroyer, causing uncontrollable fires which eventually doomed the ship. Yes, it's unlikely to happen, but under the right circumstances, it's possible.
  9. Hello, as the title reads, the ejection sequence on the F-14 seems bugged. Trying this using slow motion, I've noticed the following: 1- The seats won't launch from the correct cockpit position but from the middle of the airframe. 2- The current max seat launch distance on the F14 is 23 meters top, ejecting from a parked plane on the ground. Seems to be too short for a zero-zero capable seat as the chute doesn't deploy in time. Meanwhile, on the F-5E3 (last pic), which presumably uses the same Martin Baker Mk7 seat, the seat will launch you much farther, topping at 52 meters, giving the chute much more time to deploy properly. Screens attached. Thanks.
  10. Hey Bouli, if you look closely at the start of the vid, you can see the turbine back in there, spinning faster and faster as the engine spools up.
  11. In real life you wouldn't have any external views when flying the plane. Besides, NineLine already acknowledged the problem so what's your point? The fans at the back of the engine, turbine blades, compressor blades, call them whatever you like, they should rotate, check the F15, Su27, Mig29, they are all properly animated.
  12. I know this is probable WIP, but the turbine blades at the back of the engine are not animated. The easiest way to check this it is to turn shadows off and look into the engine exhaust, behind the afterburner combustion rings. Thank you.
  13. The ejection sequence is all messed up for me after the latest update. When ejecting, the pilot gets launched 700m away from the plane.
