  1. Bit late but thank you all for the replies. Hopefully this is something I could consider in the future. Does anyone have any vids on yotube of them flying with this stick/base?
  2. Hi everyone, I would possibly touch the F-16 and other modern jets in the future but I was really curious about this base. I mainly fly helicopters, warbirds and basically everything not FBW. Could it be used to fly helicopters, warbirds and others? Has anyone had any experience and tried this flying non FBW aircraft in DCS or other sims? What is it like... Very intrigued to know whether this base could be my only stick. Force sensing looks like quite an interesting and accurate way of doing things in the sim world. Thanks, fruityflyer
  3. I’m interested! I mainly fly on ‘Aerobatics Online Server Caucasus’. Mainly in Huey’s, sabres and warbirds. Let me know if you’re still looking for people
  4. Hello Pilots, I regularly fly on the 'Aerobatics Online Caucasus Server'. I like to do formation and generally just fly around :) Just for fun, I've started recording some of my flights. My in game name is: "thurs" I've flown with a few random people over the past few days but can't remember any names. Feel free to check out some of my videos. There will be more uploaded in the future :) Happy flying. Ross Thurston - YouTube
  5. Hi guys! Not going to repeat myself much but I am selling my Virpil VPC T-50CM Mongoose Grip, base, deskmount, extension set, extension wires, cams/springs. If you would like to know more please follow this link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254414919227 Thanks, Ross
  6. Thanks for those results DeltaMike quite impressive. Vega cards seem to do well with higher resolutions whilst the other amd and nvidia cards are better for 1080p it seems.
  7. Thanks for those results Pappen think I'll save some money and get the 3600! Thanks guys. Also smokey, one of the Msi mb (b450 tomahawk) has bios flashback, it has a button on the back and a USB slot to load the bios into. You can update the bios without having a cpu, ram or gpu installed! Pretty cool feature.
  8. OK thanks guys. I know the 3600 (non x) is close to the 3700x but what's the fps difference between the 3600x and 3700x? Also DeltaMike, how does your current cpu and gpu handle dcs? How does it run in mp and with vr if you don't mind me asking?
  9. Ah great so performance wise the x470 will perform the same as a x570 just without the extra features? If that's the case I'll go with a x470 then. DCS isn't the only game I play, but most of them show my cpu very close to 100% most of the time. Tbh it could be my motherboard it's been glitch and broken for a while but I don't see the point in buying a new older motherboard and older cpu. I may as well get something newer.
  10. Hi guys. After waiting for the new AMD stuff to I've decided I want to upgrade from my struggling i5-4690k. I'm interested in the 3700x but haven't been keeping up with the tech stuff and want to know if I should get a X470 or X570? Would you guys be able to give me a half build (keeping psu, gpu, ssd, case etc just need need cpu, mb and ram) based on my requirements: R7-3700X which I will keep stock so no intention to oc No interest in pci-4 16gb ram not sure what speed At least 8 USB ports Also will a 620w evga gold psu be able to handle gtx 1060 6gb and all this new stuff? Mainly getting it for fps games and il2 and Dcs. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi Guys, Does anybody know if the standalone 'Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant' will work with DCS by itself or is it just to be used with the yoke? Cheers, Ross
  12. Okay thanks guys. And use the Virpil software not windows calibration. Noted. Cheers
  13. Hi guys, Finally saved enough and I’m upgrading from a T16000m to the Virpil T-50, desk mount and extension! Also ordered the VKB pedals as I got fed up with the thrust master pedals (good for the money as VERY basic pedals but not a fan.) can anyone tell me if I need to calibrate the stick when I first use it or is it plug and play? Also can anyone give me a rough estimate on the delivery time? Sorry if this had already been asked. Can’t wait to receive them! Cheers guys.
  14. Okay thanks guys! Would the X52 pro be worth a look or is the stick more of a downgrade?
