  1. Use Microsoft Window's Scheduler program to automatically start all server instances after a machine reboot.
  2. I had flown with a TRACK IR for many years. I upgrade to TOBII Eye Tracker last year and haven't use the TRACK IR since.
  3. Andre, Thanks for the reply. No he didn't. Your customer support over the years has been excellent and based on my recommendations, five of my friends have purchased jetseats and software from you. I would have bought another jetseat from you if they were available here. The NLR HF8 appears to be the Realteus ForceFeel unit that has simply been re-labled with the NLR markings. All functions work perfectly in Realteus ForceFeel Control Center work perfectly with the HF-8. Scores of simmers are using the HF8 with SSA without problems, but for some reason a very few of us are getting this error. I have flown the HF-8 on my old computer without getting this error, so I have a hunch that it might be related to my specific computer hardware. Perhaps a HID/USB driver going to sleep? Hopefully you can tell me what module is generating this error. Is it the seat handler? I will try flying IL-2 and Aerofly with your Sim Shaker Wings module and see it I get the same error. Thanks
  4. The NLR HF8 is a relabeled Realteus Force Feel seat. Next Level Racing is even recommending your software. They are selling hundreds if not thousands of their seats in the USA, while it is almost impossible for US customers to buy Gamtrix Jetseat from Russia. You and Andre could be capitalizing on the availability of the NLR HF8 through increased sales of your software. Your response is a little disappointing to your loyal customers like me who have bought all your modules. I hope Andre feels different.
  5. The_Nephilim I'm not running Windows 11, but I notice that with my Windows 10 system that sometimes the TARGET virtual device drivers does not disabled the discreet stick and throttle drivers when the TARGET profile starts. A symptom of this is that it takes a very long time for the TARGET profile to load. Check in your Windows Devices and see if you have both the TARGET combined driver and the discreet stick, throttle and MFD drivers. A couple of years back this was related to a conflict with the Microsoft Store service, but it had appeared to have been solved. Another symptom was that I wouldn't have a problem if I started the TARGET profile immediately after booting. This may not apply to your case, but thought I'd mention it. Good luck.
  6. Andre, My old jet-seat that I bought from you years ago finally gave up the ghost, so I replaced it with the Next Level Racing HF-8 which I think is a re-labeled Realteus Force FeeI Seat. It seems to work great with your software, however, I am getting the following error occasionally in both DCS and MSFS. I am using SSA (2.62) and SSS (2.32). The seat handler is version 1.0.0.10. Any idea of the cause? When the error occurs, the vibration stops and when I acknowledge it, the vibration resumes. Is there anyway to automatically override the error? Any help will be deeply appreciated.
  7. Congratulations to @Home Fries! Not only is he a brilliant programmer, but is also a talented Livery Artist. How does the man find the time? @Home Fries: Which module did you choose?
  8. I updated the OpenBeta this morning and then purchased the $9.99 upgrade despite the flashing warning message that I already owned a serial#. I wonder how many sales that message has dissuaded?
  9. Is anyone getting the following error when running the NLR HF8 with the Sim Shaker Aviator software? When the error occurs, the seat stops working, but immediately resumes working when I click "okay". I seems to occur about every 15 to 20 minutes and is really annoying while in VR.
  10. I've had for NLR HF8 for about a week and am using it with SimShakerAviator. However, I am occasionally receiving the error shown below. When it happens, the seat stops working until I acknowledge the error and then it resumes working. Anyone else having this problem?
  11. Yes I think so. I have packed my TRACKIR away. I'm running DCS on 3 x 55" TV's in a inverted U shape and with the Tobii it is almostt like being in VR without the HMD. Tracking seems much more stable, especially when looking at large angles. My TRACKIR would often get wonkey during a dogfight.
  12. This is a problem if the Tobii ET5's field of view of your eyes is blocked.
  13. I see no one answered your question and it's probably OBE by now, but for others seeking an answer: I use Tobii ET5 with glasses in a darkened room without any problems. Yes. In the Tobii Game Hub software there are options to TOGGLE, HOLD TO ENABLE and HOLD TO DISABLE the tracking.
  14. I've just bumped up against this issue too with Tobii ET5. I did find that in "control settings", if you left click on the down arrow icon, you can disable head tracking and the mouse look will work. Be nice if ED could provide a hotkey to disable head tracking within the cockpit.
  15. SOLVED: I used the FREE version of the REVO UNINSTALLER to completely scrub all traces of SimShaker from my computer and then re-installed. All is good now. I still wonder what broke and why? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Earlier today SSA was working fine, but now I am getting an UNHANDLED EXCEPTION error. I have tried uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing without success. I am running version 2.4.0 of the stable release. I also tried running the SSA_beta (2.3.14) but receive the same error. Here is the DETAILS from the UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoBind(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress) at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Bind(EndPoint localEP) at System.Net.Sockets.UdpClient..ctor(Int32 port, AddressFamily family) at SimShaker.Core.DataProvider.XPlaneDataProvider..ctor(CallBackOnAircraftChange callBackOnAircraftChange, Action callbackPlayEffects, Action callbackStopEffects) at SimShaker.Core.MasterManager..ctor(MainForm link) at SimShaker.UI.MainForm..ctor() at SimShaker.UI.AutoStarterForm.startSimShakerForDCSWorldToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEventInteractive(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEvent(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4515.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- SimShaker for Aviators Assembly Version: 2.4.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.4.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/SimShaker/SimShaker%20for%20Aviators/SimShaker%20for%20Aviators.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4515.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4488.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4390.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4190.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_B CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4515.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- NLog Assembly Version: 5.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 5.0.0.664 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/SimShaker/SimShaker%20for%20Aviators/NLog.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- Accessibility Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Accessibility/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Accessibility.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. 16. MarcT-NL, There are 8 motors but only six channels. The leg and butt motors are connected in parallel. If you haven't done so, try swapping out motors to see if it is the motor that has failed or if the channel has gone bad. If your wiring appears good, examine the controller board. There are two 8 pin DIP MOSFETS (labeled IR P025H) driving 4 SMD resistors (labeled 2R2). Take a look at the picture of a portion of my control board (IMG_0610). I traced the dead channel to R34, which in the image looks fried. It should measure 2.2 ohms, but it measures 156 ohms. I have ordered some 2.2 ohms SMD resistors but haven't replaced R34 yet. The wiring in my JETSEAT had become brittle and the insulation had disintegrated in spots. I think the leads to the motor must have shorted out, frying R34. I do notice the motor on the dead channel twitches when I test the channel, so hopefully the MOSFET DIP isn't blown, because the PO25H appears to be made out of unobtainum. If the PO25 is okay, I am planning to totally rebuild my JETSEA, using higher quality wire, eliminating the secondary connector junction board and moving the controller board to a 3D printed enclosure that will be easier mount to the side of the chair. I plan to add memory foam cushioning, a cut out for a floor mounted center stick and a new cover made out olive drab military looking material. I have had mine JETSEAT about four years and it has undergone some hard use. Only two motors were working when I decided to try fixing it. Upon removing the innards from the JETSEAT cushion, I found all kind of problems: broken wires, bare wire, pulled out micro-connectors, bad solder joints wrapped with electrical tape rather than heat shrink, however all eight motors were still good. Attached are pictures of some of the problems I found. Yours appears be in much better condition. Good luck
  17. @BIGNEWYI just realized a problem I might have created, but has gone undetected since I don't use voice chat. If you are running multiple instances of the server on the same computer, do you need to assign a unique port for each instances for VC? Or each instance of the server attempt to share port 10309?
  18. My order arrived today and hoping to install it tonight.
  19. Thanks Andre. I suppose if the only alternative is a new one, I might as well take the old one apart and look for broken wires and dead transducers. Anyone know of a source of replacement transducers?
  20. Andre, I have had my Gametrix Jet Seat going on three years and I just don't like flying without. However; now 5 five of the 8 transducers have stopped working. I have tried "tapping" on them lightly without effect. Do you have any suggestions on how to diagnose and repair? Is there any software reset in the controller? Thanks Alan
  21. Order #6268 just placed. The web site say expected dispatch is the week of May 17th.
  22. Home Fries, Any chance of you doing a profile for the new T45 community mod? Alamo
  23. I am seeing the same issues on my servers. One other problem, which I think maybe related, is that the RESUME ON functions often reverts to RESUME ON MANUAL even with the RESUME ON CLIENT set in the serverSetting.lua. The only way I have been able to change mission is to edit the [missionList] to have only one mission.
