The decal shown in the first post seems to be added to all the helmets automatically like this:

If you want to remove it on your livery, add this line:

Pretty much done with a fictional low visibility RNoAF livery.
I'm planning to make some with colors as well.

Thank You! But How Do I load these into PhotoShop? I had them once upon a time, then I built a new computer reinstalled PS, and have not had the FS colors since. I forget how I did it last time.

I use a color picker tool to get the html color code (e.g #ffffff) and paste it into Photoshop.
Unless you mean something else by "loading them into PS"?

Thanks for the update, glad to hear the taxi bug is fixed and that the PBR textures are coming soon.

Now I am confused. Exterior shots of the DCS F/A-18C Lot 20 Hornet clearly show 4 CM boxes which allows for 120 CM.
BUT. The cockpit shots show 30 Chaff and 14 Flare which would mean that DCS F/A-18C has 2 CM boxes for a maximum of 60 CM.
What is going on? :huh:
Could be WIP or maybe he just hasn't loaded more countermeasures than that or used some on the mission?

Ok, I downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photoshop to try it there and it works perfect - so it seems like GIMP is the problem.

Using GIMP as well and got the issues you described. The layer groups doesn't seem to work as it should as it covers your livery completely instead of just some parts like the tires or pitot tube.
I don't see this problem on joey45 or Sergeiev's liveries - or the preview in the OP of this thread.
This is how it looks with the "pitot tube" layer group selected:

and this is with the "gear paint" layer group selected:

As you can see none of my livery is showing with these layer groups selected.

Is it possible to change location/size of where the dynamic numbers are displayed on the aircraft? For instance, I want these numbers to be dynamic - any way to do this?

Thanks for your answer, but I hope you will re-consider because the Hawk's specular layer (reflectiveness )looks pretty weird in 2.1 right now comparing to how it looks in 1.5.

One thing we do hope to push to Hawk sooner rather than later is the new PBR cockpit textures.
Is there any plans on making proper specular layers for the external model in 2.1 with PBR lighting?
