  1. Updated square version was only included in late B models that got the Sparrowhawk as I understood.
  2. I've noticed this as well since the last update, it also occurs on red pieces of liveries on the Mustang and TF-51.
  3. Been lurking here waiting for these to release. Have to say, they are fantastic! I've been waiting for someone to do VFA-204 liveries and I'm glad it was someone who payed so much attention to detail. Keep up the awesome work!
  4. I think everything you’ve said has been pretty well disproven, but I wanted to comment on this because I love the XB-70. The XB-70 incident you mentioned was an aircraft that as I remember it made an emergency landing while still heavily loaded. The loaded weight on the XB-70 is around 530000 pounds. Empty weight is 253000 pounds. We can safely assume the aircraft in question was within these weight parameters during that landing, and max braking at those weights is likely to cause a brake fire. The F-15 you compare it to has an empty weight of 28000 pounds and a loaded weight of around 44000 pounds. Again we can assume the accident aircraft was within these weights. It’s clear to me that a 253-530K pound aircraft with 1960s brakes and early, if any, ABS and unique experimental wheels would be, idk, maybe a little more susceptible to brake fire and tire blowouts than a 25-44K pound jet with modern ABS and brakes as well as more refined tires.
  5. Just click cancel and say yes when it asks about if you want to use HTTP
  6. Firstly, Eagle Dynamics is a business and must make a profit in order to survive and pay its employees. I don’t blame them for wanting to get the new map and F/A-18 our the door, these two modules will turn a massive profit for them and help them stay afloat so that they can focus on the bugs in the free DCS overhead. Secondly, both Persian Gulf and the F/A-18C are early-access alphas/betas. I don’t know why you would ever expect them to release on the stable build and not open beta considering this, and considering that it has never been done that way.
  7. Yeah no problem, glad it worked for you. I used to have the exact same issue so I sat down and just kept trying different positions until it worked.
  8. Yes, and when after quitting back to the main menu I attempt to create and start another mission. It loads halfway and then CTDs with no messages.
  9. Sit on the taxiway where it Ts with the runway and get as close as possible without putting the tip of your nose over the runway. Come to a complete stop and try it. This is what always works for me. Also make sure you are holding short of the correct runway (E.G. runway 33 at Guadata instead of 15 if that's where ATC told you to go)
  10. All aircraft start up in 30 seconds as AI, even the A-10C which should take at least 10 Mins from battery on to taxi will be taxiing in 30 seconds. There’s no real need for ED to model an E-2C for the aesthetic, it vs. the E-2D has little difference beyond look as in game radars are currently not simulated properly. The French use 8 bladed Hawkeyes as well.
  11. Did you get the asset pack bundle or just the map? Because it’s asking for the asset pack
  12. No, Eagle Dynamics contract prevents them from including the -65E
  13. As others have said, for combat capability plus simplicity get the F-5E. However, if you want an aircraft that’s an absolute dream to fly then pick up the L-39, it is my favorite flying jet in the game.
  14. Bind zoom to the friction slider on the TM Warthog and set a very small deadzone on your TrackIR, memorize where the TGP carat is on the HUD and put the center of the pupper on it and fire. These are the two ways I do it, I either zoom in and find the target visually, or I just remember where the carat is and place he pupper there and pull stage one of the trigger as soon as I’m over it.
  15. It appears your aircraft isn’t using PFM correctly as the nose is turning with no friction very quickly. Not sure though.
  16. Thank you for this image good sir, I’ve been looking high and low for images of bird 501 from VAQ-135 as a reference for weathering scale models, I now have a beautiful one showing all that glorious grime.
  17. Ah, a VAQ-135 Prowler from when they wore the AJ tailcode. One of the best CAG liveries imo, though their 2007-09 CAG bird was nicer looking.
  18. Thanks for the good times Mirk! Best of luck on your future adventures, if you ever decide to come back and work on Regenisis again we’ll be waiting!
  19. Judging by the screenshots the F-18 (most likely the others you listed too) is running in FSX/P3D, not DCS
  20. JDarksword

    Mirage F1

Jesus, that’s a lot of jets for a private company.
  21. Agreed, if you need a break Mirk don't hesitate, we'll be here waiting when you return
