  1. Looking forward to the road bases. Great update!
  2. The update and reactivation seems to went well, even though I had to delete the registry keys (0 deactivations left - hope that can be replenished, I've sent you guys an email to support). I still have 11 activations. Hope this will solve all the activation issues once and for all. Thanks guys
  3. It is, downloading... :)
  4. After you spend your last one, you get a new one 30 days later.

  6. Good job, ED ! I wasn't affected by any of those issues, but i know it was a showstopper for quite a few people.
  7. Already done. :) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178901
  8. Today's patch mostly addressed starforce issues introduced a few patches ago, which affected some modules but not Mig-21.
  9. If all the fixes make it into the next patch, it's gonna be a big one. :D
  10. It's a bug. The RWR can also see through terrain.
  11. I too would prefer the devs posting their news and updates here. I guess they have their reasons not to...

    Radio Mode Selector

It's a frequency that is used in case of emergency, to send a distress call. Civil aviation use 121.5MHz, military 243MHz. It is monitored by traffic control and emergency services.

    Radio Mode Selector

Pal (Principal) = Main, normal operating mode Pal+G = simultaneously monitoring selected frequency and guard frequency (243MHz or 121.5MHz) Ar (Arret) = off Don't know about F1 and H.
  15. Good news, the armament selector and IR/SARH switch are fixed. https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io/view.php?id=187 https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io/view.php?id=81
  16. Those Lancers are realy cool, I wouldn't mind seeing them in DSC some day :D. Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia are the only NATO members still flying Fishbeds, the latter two use the "vanilla :). Not sure about Bulgaria, but Croatia will probably replace them soon with either Gripens or F-16. edit: it seems Bulgaria doesn't use Mig-21 anymore?
  17. I upgraded from win 7 to 10 a year ago, didn't noticed any difference performance wise. Still runs fine.
  18. That one seems to be fixed. https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io/view.php?id=400
  19. Thanks, appreciated!
  20. ED just released a potential fix for this issue with M2000C, and some other modules. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184537
  21. Do you have birdstrikes enabled? :D
  22. No, it's not possible to install Caucasus to DCS 2. Devs are working on the "big merge", to combine DCS 1.5 (Caucasus only) and 2.0 (NTTR, and later Normandy) into a single version, 2.5. No ETA yet.
  23. Yeah, maybe you're right. :D
  24. MiG-21, just as any complex piece of software, has some issues. The navigation system could be better, weapons selector is inaccurately implemented, gunsight needs some improvement too etc. I don't have a clue how a MiG-21 is supposed to behave in flight, so I won't comment the flight model. But I would dare to say that none of these issues, no matter how annoying some of them may be, are not even close to be game braking, and don't make MiG-21 a bad module. On the contrary, it is a great module. Recently, after the LNS split, Dolphin said they are intensifying the work on the module. Indeed, there seem to be more activity in their bug tracker during last month then in the entire 2016 :). So let's wait what will the future patches bring. I know I'll continue to enjoy the MiG just as the day I bought it almost two years ago, and will continue to recommend it to anybody who asks.
