  1. Well, the party may have started a long time ago, but I don't think it's gonna end anytime soon, so you're more than welcome to join! Welcome to DCS World! :)
  2. Great feature!
  3. MiG-21 set a very high standard, Viggen seems to be raising the bar even higher.
  4. Thanks for confirmation.
  5. Check the textures on weapons control panels Screenshot/Video available: see below Track Available: no Mission File: - Controllers: - OS: win 10 RAM: 16gb GPU: gtx970 Mods: no Any Additional Information: -
  6. Description: Starting on the ground at negative altitude (bellow sea level, like Death Walley), from FARP, or from ground, results with instant death. DCS Version: 2.0.4.59428 Steam: no Map: NTTR SP/MP: SP Reproducible: yes Step to Reproduce: start mission on the ground, negative altitude you can use attached mission, just start it and watch yourself blow up :D Screenshot/Video available: see bellow Track Available: no Mission File: attached Controllers: tm t16000m, ch throttle, crosswind pedals, tir5 OS: win 10 RAM: 16gb GPU: gtx9700 Mods: no Any Additional Information: happens only with gazelle. Landing at the ground below sea level doesn't cause any issues. There used to be a bug in 2.0 which caused any aircraft to explode as soon as it went to negative altitude, but it was fixed some time ago. Perhaps it's related. death walley farp.miz
  7. I find magnetic brake very awkward to use, with erratic results, so I never use it. The "hat trim" works great.
  8. Hope so. :D
  9. Sorry for bursting your bubbles guys, but it was actually mine mighty 8 rep points that dragged 56RAF_Talisman away from the dark side and put him on a distinguished road. :P
  10. Just tried the simplified engine management, indeed it doesn't seem to do anything. I'd suggest turning it off and learn how to avoid flameouts. And practice engine relight. I think it was the first MiG-21 procedure I've learned :D.
  11. I've just tried, with 103% of max takeoff weight :D, no AB, from Batumi. I took of without problems, but it took me like 2 minutes to climb above 100m.:D Can you post a video showing your controls indicator? Tracks are buggy unfortunately.
  12. Great, thank you! There's an error for L-39, its R-832M radio is V/UHF (118-140MHz, 220-389.95 MHz).
  13. +1 BTW, trains don't just randomly run around the map, they acctualy have a schedule. I've seen a timetable posted somewhere on the forum some years ago. :D
  14. Too much coffee? :D
  15. +1  I'm using keyboard Z and X (rudder by default), which works fine for me since I have the throttle near the keyboard which makes these keys quickly accessible. The axis wouldn't hurt though, specialy for VR. I found that the twist axis on the stick works great for the reticle. Any self centering axis should be fine I guess. What kind of axis do you use?
  16. Thank you guys for pointing out to the mods in which the feature is working, but I'd like it to be implemented in "vanilla" DCS. :) BTW, I've just learned that the guard channel is fully operational in F-86 too. Again, Belsimtek .
  17. +1

    UHF Radio

    No, I'm afraid not.
  19. SP = singleplayer, MP = multiplayer. :)
  20. As long as you keep her within operational limitations (manual, p. 31-38 ) you should have no problems. edit: are you flying in SP or MP? I'm not sure if servers can enforce simplified engine management off (would be logical imo).
