  1. Remember when Sceptre said he likes men....I do
  2. I know a girl who has "it"....sent me to the doctor to get rid of "it" :(
  3. Crayola? You must have been around spoiled Marines...most of us can only afford to eat Rose Art. ...but if it isn't payday I'll eat some Olive Garden crayons if you have some. RAH!! And happy Birthday to the finest fighting force the world will ever witness. KILL!!
  4. Insert "that's great, but can we fix the Mirage" post HAHAHAHA...sorry I'm so excited for the Harrier I couldn't help myself.
  5. Ah those years of traps and training...watch how the shoulders tighten and the head leans back at 0:50. Not only a day one buy, but I'm taking of week off from work. :yay:
  6. Hog's are slow and often cumbersome, because of that they're pretty much stuck-in low. They hunt really well and make great use of their sensory. They're resilient and very dangerous (especially the front end). Hornet's are quick and nimble, but seem a bit fragile. Agile while low, a hornet also can get high pretty quickly. They pack a pretty good punch, but most effective when grouped in with other attacking hornets. They are really way too separate to compare unless you're talking super general terms.
  7. Great compilation cosmicdoubloon!! Glad I could help lend some clips....but if we could all ignore and forget 5:26 to 5:38..

  9. I felt the same way when I was younger. Go to the mall...hang out all day, kinda just buzz around look at all the things. Now that I'm older...it's more like; know where I'm going, get there, get in, get out.
  10. I recently saw an aging 3rd gen (F-4) fighter pilot learn how to effectively fly and operate a F-18C in roughly an evening...he was crop dusting between flying the two fighters. So I'm not too concerned with the learning curve....
  11. Also remember to check radar scan range...can't see target at 60nm if you're only scanning to 40. Might seem basic but those are usually the first things that start to slip when the tunnel vision starts. ;)
  12. Screen shots from the photo-op we did after the event:
  13. Greetings on 9/9/2017 the 16th AGR and F99th virtual wings collaborated to carry out Operation Hollow Skull. Mission Brief: Recently, a contacted located in the Nuclear Research Group of our Northern enemy contacted us with new information on the progression of the nuclear weapon development. Our worst fears are almost at hand, as they are very near to completing their first nuclear weapon. Our contact was able to provide us with documents on the weapons specifications and design, however he was captured before he could reveal the location of the production facility. The facilities general location is known, but do not know it's exact location. Today we will be running a mission to rescue the spy, and destroy the nuclear production facility before the bomb can be finished. The first phase will consist of rescuing the spy from a military prison in the mountains, which will be conducted by Task Force Griffon. The enemy radar defenses are very dense, requiring the task force to ingress through the valley leading from the coast. The valley beings near an enemy air base, which will require the destruction of enemy air defenses and aircraft so that the helicopters can pass. At the same time, Task Force Neptune will be preparing an ingress route for the strike on the facility. Enemy air defenses are too strong for an overland route, so we must make a strike from the sea. Unfortunately, the enemy carrier group is currently positioned near the area with the production facility. In preparation for the strike, Task Force Neptune will destroy the carrier group. Prior to the attack on the carrier, two B-52's will conduct cruise missile attacks on the airbases at Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik to eliminate enemy fighter forces there. Once the carrier group has been destroyed and the facility located, Task Force Neptune can RTB to refuel and re-arm if necessary. The strike package will form up off the coast in preparation for the strike. The enemy air defenses will need to be suppressed before the package moves inland. Once the enemy air defenses have been defeated, the strike package will determine the best route to the target. Fighter cover will move in and provide a CAP over the site. The strike package will move in and destroy the site. Egress will be through the same gap in the air defenses. The mission was an overall success. If you'd like more information about the F99th and 16th AGR please feel free to reach out. http://www.f99th.com http://www.16agr.com/ Here are some event streams from that day: Pyromaniac4002 - Viggen Flight Flash - F-15C Flight JINX 1391 - Mirage Flight 2:02:19 - 2:05:30 Attack on Enemy Carrier 2:48:00 - 2:52:21 Attack on Nuclear Base
  14. To add to all the above sentiments...thanks again for another wonderful event. Certainly something I am looking forward to every month. Special thanks to IronMike, the 104th, Yoda, Moltar, and the brave group of F-15s that flew boxes with me the first hour of the event. I can only imagine the work the goes into hosting an event like this - and it is truly appreciated as this is exactly the type of experience I want from flight sim'ing. My heart was pumping adrenaline and I was immersed - all because everyone involved was giving their all for what they want from DCS. Lol I know I had a hand in nudging MattE that way only cause he pushed me out front from the beginning. And I want to say thanks to MattE for doing so - it pushed me outside my comfort zone, and I think I grew as a player. Thanks all

  17. Aero Elite: Combat Academy Yes, it was on the PS2 - and yes, I still have my PS2 specifically for this game :smilewink: It was, to me, a huge jump away from the arcade games for the consoles. It did have the arcade options, but you mostly did quasi-real type training and combat flights. That and access to fly almost any platform your heart desired....fixed wing, rotary..but I always found myself in the Tomcat. I remember you could take the F-14 up to max altitude, drop the nose, push full-burner, and on the way down break M2. When you did it the first time it unlocked an easter-egg and you were awarded a secret plane unlock.
  18. I would expect it all to stay the same. TM's business model is working just fine in the HOTAS market - so I wouldn't expect too much variance. Regardless of how they bring the TM Hornet to market (just the stick, stick and Warthog throttle, or all new stick and throttle) I think they will keep the price points similar. I suppose you could see a lower price for the stick attachment - if you already own the Warthog stick base.
