managed to land it twice in a row last night, but still getting confused about how much collective to raise/lower on landing?

Really enjoying the Huey, its such a challenge. I have landed a few times but not consistently. I have a tendency to pull back on the cyclic when its sinking but I suppose this is the worst thing to do? Should I just keep the cyclic level ?

whats the best position for the cyclic during a hover and land, would it be to slightly raise the nose up?

I have a thrustmaster HOTAS X joystick, it works great except when you are flying the HUEY there a bump in the center which causes issues when landing with precision using the throttle for the collective, does anyone know the best way around this ? I did have a Saitek X52 but the drivers for windows 10 are awful and just too many issues with that stick. For the price I paid it was not worth all the trouble. It doesnt even work with USB 3 ports.

I just got the Saitek X52 and its awesome however on the throttle when you push it up all the way you get a slight resistance or bump, also when you push it all the way down the same happens near the bottom end of the throttle, is this a feature ? I've read this may be what's called a detent?.
